I saw this thread from newbie board and thought it a good subject that has not been talked about for awhile here. Always remember hobby safe!

I just got new pre-paid phones to start off the new year and I've changed a few things that I do with them.

-- As I do my research of the CityPage ads each week, I store the numbers of girls I DON'T want to see in the phone, but instead of their name, I store the reason WHY I don't want to see them. This way when I start to dial the number from a new ad that catches my eye, if the girl is on the bad list, it will show up on the phone's display as soon as I press send.

-- I've figured out a safe, secret place to leave the phone where it can remain on the charger, and I leave it turned on all the time - It is UN-FUCKING-BELIEVABLE how many girls call back on that phone number each week, I had never realized before because few girls leave messages, but if this was a home phone it would ring 5 to 10 times a week with a provider on the other end asking "who called her phone from this number" - Just think if it were a home phone and a wife answered it? Or a work phone and a co-worker answered it?!!
-- I NEVER take the phone with me into the appointment, just in case my shit goes sour, I don't want it on me.

-- I have more than one phone, I spread the calling out over different phones when re-calling girls that don't answer. Also most girls store the numbers of every call they take in their phones, often I'll call from my "known number" and get no answer, then I'll call from the "alternate number" and they will answer right away, that lets me know that they are trying to avoid me and I scratch them off the list. As a side note to that, I've busted girls that won't return my call once I've arrived and am sitting out side by then calling from the other phone which they answer, trying to book an extra appointment before they call me to let me in,,, I'm a dick, so I book the second too (to see how much time they were planning on giving me in the first appointment,usually very little!) and then I stand them up for both and scratch them off the list....

-- I also have a confession to make, I'm not an honest person (lol!) I often use the second phone to "verify" myself - and it usually works....

Good luck, but please know that these "tactics" are mostly only nessessary for the lower-end of the market that I so enjoy. The high-end ladies don't require this kind of "double negative protection" - all you typically need is one phone to keep the numbers off your regular cell phone bill, just in case you aren't the first one to get the mail that day and the S.O. decides to check on who you've been calling......

I like the idea of the alternate phone number..been in some discussion over that...very nice way to see if there just avoiding you!... I know first hand that it works.. and even to my suprise got an appointment...LOL!!

here's a thought as far as an alternate phone number... use spooftel. It is a web-based (and they have an 800# as well, I really haven't used that. You enter your phone number, (let's say your disposable phone #) the number you want to call, and then you can enter any phone number you want... that is what is displayed on the other end's caller ID. It is .10/min to use... although it is a Canadian service, so the rates are actually a little cheaper. There are similar services out there... just google caller ID spoofing. The one downside is if they call back the mystery number you won't really know about it, but you'll know if they're avoiding you.
