I saw this over on the legal board and I thought that this article might interest everybody. There is one thing in the article that a number of providers do not know…

In Alaska, as in every other U.S. state, it is currently legal for members of law enforcement to have sexual contact with individuals who are under investigation. The line is legally drawn at penetration…hmm

Minnesota Court of Appeals ... 2009 decision stated that sexual conduct with a suspect during a sting is “outrageous conduct in violation of the guarantees of due process in the United States and Minnesota constitutions” and “unnecessary to any reasonable investigation.”

Yes...  and as I read that case and decision, I was perplexed why that officer wasn't charged with criminal sexual conduct.  I mean, really.  If someone had gone to a Massage Envy or other spa and did those things to a masseuse, you can pretty well bet he'd have been charged, so why not the cop?   That truly was outrageous.
