Zahtar in the grand hotel has the best sushi chef in town, this little mexican dude (of all people)

the main guy at origami just left after 15+ years.

for pasta check out this new spot on washington near downtown called BAR LA GRASA (amazing)

I think this is my first post...mostly because i love food. :-)

Let's see, top for Italian--I would honestly say my favorite place is Fat Lorenzos down by Lake Nokomis.  For sushi, I am partial to Nami or Zahtar.

Maybe a little late but ALMOST every place listed by folks here is a total waste of $$$ and leads to an overly pretentious dive.
On the weekends
Go to Azia, sushi tango or tiger because the other places get their fish shipments on mondays = old cuts on the end of the week.

I cant eat Italian due my gluten intolerance .
