I have looked at your posts (subject line) and often see you reference (disparagingly) Sparks or Twistedb when they aren't part of the thread you either start or add to.... That's the Clear Blue.
And why would anyone else want to experience that kind of harrassment simply because they engaged you in some form in a prior thread..... And trust me, I don;t encourage them to engage you in a bad way either. I indicated they should ignore you. Just as you should ignore them.
You have to recognize that a wider range of people are challenging your participation on this board than either Sparks or Twistedb. But again, their choice is to ignore - not malign. Your antics simply fuel the issue.
Refering to the thread below, it always amazes me that when people take a stand against someone of some topic, they can not step up to the plate and use their real hanlde but have to hide behind a alias to blast the person.
Just like with any poster on this board, if you do not like thier posts....don't read them. I myself will look at his many links and find some of them interesting and some not. Does this mean he should stop posting them because "I" don;t like them...far from it.
If you don't like it, why don't you send him a PM and tell him off the board and keep the pissing contests for the other board.
Everyone has there one way of posting on this board, there is no one right way or SOP that covers this.
I also find that there are many posts I find of no use or interest to me or may be annoying. So what? The board does not exist just to cater to what any one person or small group of people may find acceptable.
I agree with MDL about using an alias to blast someone. I did not use an alias since none of you know me anyways.
I also agree that the board is not hear for just one persons amusement. When I went to check messages last night, all I saw was posts from TwinCitiesGuy. My reaction may have been a bit rash and for that I apologize. I still feel that someone did need to say something as it seemed the posts were getting out of hand in both quantity and relevance. But then again, I guess some may have found them to be of value.
I think Twin Cities Guy has harrassed people that have openly posted their 'real names'. ie: Sparky something or other and Twistedb - sometimes out of the clear blue with no initiation on the others part.
I think his sometimes abusive retorts might be what some people would choose to avoid. Thus the use of aliases by people that don;t want to deal with it.... besides, every name on here is an alias...
My belief is that people just need to ignore the posters that they choose to ignore. Its pretty simple really. I have no issues with TwinCitiesGuy, but clearly there are others that find his posts annoying.
