I hope everyone has a happy and safe Thanksgiving. Drive carefully!! For those who don't have family to spend it with, I hope you are able to find surrogate families. After all, it's not blood that makes a family. It's choice, love, and acceptance. Some of my most memorable (and fun!) Thanksgivings were spent with non-blood relatives!! If you are alone today, please do something nice for yourself!! You deserve it!
My "adopted" family Thanksgiving is on Saturday, hardly anyone seems to eat on Thursdays anymore.
Anything beats my 2006 Thanksgiving up on the Range (-17F) at a VFW with school lunch trays of food with my Grandpa. How he wasn't as depressed back then I have no idea. Finished the night off with a Red Baron pizza. Those were the days! Hope everyone has a great holiday.
