I'd have preferred to meet under better circumstances, but there it is.

I'd like to thank ikcuts for his efforts on the boards. I moderate a number of East Coast and Canadian boards as well as San Francisco so I know what he has been dealing with. It's a fun job as well as challenging, and I hope to get to know all of you better in future.

I am not privy to nor am I concerned with the circumstances that led to my being here - I would hope that speculation and unfounded accusations can be kept to a minimum. Suffice it so say that there are only two people who know the whole story, and as Admin is unlikely to come forward and lay it all out, I don't feel it is reasonable for those with either partial information or an agenda to offer speculation. Well wishes and thanks for an often thankless job are encouraged, pot-stirring and any form of vitriol or recrimination are not.

I have greatly enjoyed this hobby and TER has been an invaluable resource. I am pleased to be able to give a little back to the community that has given me so much enjoyment.

As for the question of 'who the f is this Puck guy?' - I am not local to Minnesota, though I've spent some quality time in the Twin Cities and on the lakes of Northern Wisconsin. I currently live in Los Angeles and quite frankly prefer to moderate boards where I do not normally play. I see my role as that of referee and I strive to apply the rules in an even handed manner. I don't see my job as that of cheerleader - if you want to hold hands and sing, cool, but I'm not gonna toast the marshmallows and tell scary stories around the campfire.

If I can be of assistance to anyone here, feel free to PM me. I would hope that we can all play by the rules and engage in a forum that promotes the safe enjoyment of this hobby and each other.
