I agree this board is what it is currently...good, bad, static, it is what it is...
It's not nearly as bad as it has been, that I know for sure from wrecks of the past.
I think everyone should take a trip down memory lane or just explore past when you became an active handle/participant/dissident/provider/client...whatever your angle is. It's interesting and if you don't understand history you are bound to repeat it, am I right?
I looked up my previous review handle again tonight for shits and giggles. I remember casually looking at posts when the MN board started but I didn't get in to doing reviews until 12/02. Oh those were the days.
Please anyone share your thoughts on the history of the board since you have been here. Wong just trying to have an innocent entertaining discussion for a change...

...malicious the board gets vs. how tame and relatively calm it can be. Recently, there have been many viewpoints expressed that this board, over the past few years, is the worst and ugliest it's ever been but I disagree. This board has been relatively very tame over the last few years compared to what I've experienced where a malicious train wreck every other day was the norm.
I agree it can be very interesting to go back and look at some of the old threads and recall some long forgotten user names and aliases. There's a double standard wherein a hobbyist can have his entire posting history erased and come back under a new handle yet, most of the time, a provider who wants to rebrand herself and come back refreshed, reawakened and with a new attitude, always carries her previous provider's handles linked to her profile and is subject to any bias that others hold of her from her previous identity. Often times, that's a good thing 'cuz a ripoff is a ripoff and you can't breed that out of her but other times ladies deserve a clean slate, too.
