The idea is just a shot with some well known landmarks in background. You don't have to shed clothes to make it sexy. Pics of you with local landmarks means you are actually here vs a fake pic.

These are great ideas, and I apologize in advance for the know-it-all rant and cockblocking of good ideas. But its not as simple as you think it is because there are some particular legal issues with a few of those suggestions..
*the blur tool can be undone by photo programs, if a lady is trying to keep her provider identity and her real life identity separate and private, showing her face is detrimental to that and the blur tool is not as effective as a crop and burn. While some providers are comfortable with using their face in pics, there are quite a few who are not, because of how being outted would affect their other lives.
Providers have families, children, friends, real-life professional jobs out side the industry that could be negatively impacted if their identity was uncovered.
*the sports jersey and well known land marks.. this is a gray area, to be "technical" about it.. the pictures are being use for the sale of services, those services which are deemed illegal..
Anything with a name that advertises something are typically stay'd away from in photos because of that. Its not just having to worry about providing services that are illegal, but in the advertising of those services you have to be mindful of copywrite and trademark laws.. And those are federal issues.
Example:: The Vikings Promotional department gets wind that Escorts are wearing their Jerseys in provocative pictures on ads in backpage for the purpose of selling escort services..
How long do you think that picture would stay up ?
and im pretty sure Star Tribune would have a field day as well.
There are several things that have to be brought into serious consideration when advertising yourself for these services. Especially to avoid secondary legal issues.
(( Example:: Al Capone never went to jail for being a gangster, but was finally brought down due to tax evasion ))
One of the things ive always gotten on provider clients about is the use of copywritten music on their websites.. that's a big no no ,, but it happens.
The State Fair, is a family orientated fair, how sexy of a pose do you think you can pull off surrounded by a bunch of families and kids ?
You have to consider public indecency laws in the city in which you are photographing..
Nightclubs, Nicollet Mall, Hennepin Ave or the Fair are usually littered with people, young and old.
The best you could getting away with is bikini's, but to avoid scrutiny and possible legal issues in regards to public indecency is a bikini that would be considered more modest. We are in Minnesota and there are 3-4 months of good bikini weather..
And the photoshoot would have to be more fashion photography based.. because if photogs are out in public taking shots ,, they are stopped and questioned about it. In some cities you have to get a permit to do photoshoots with models, and if what you are shooting doesnt follow the letter of the permit you requested you can get in trouble as a photographer.
The best idea, would be a top floor hotel with a big picture window with a view of downtown, where some of the major landmarks aka Grainbelt, anything with words on it, can be soft filtered and blurred..
But clearly tells the client,, well yes,, thats downtown Minneapolis..
But the problem there,, the cost of that hotel room and the photoshoot cost ..
And the constant updating of pictures can get pricey...
On every ad site, there are legal rules that have to be agreed to before posting pictures..
Some are very strict about content , some are not as strict, but most all the major ad space has a set of rules that has to be followed for Providers to be allowed to post their pics. And alot of them have copywrite and trademark guidelines legalize in their *Agree to Terms* button before posting pics.
And if those rules are not followed those pictures are removed and in some cases the ad itself.
This is not a defense for posting fake pics,, I dont think it should be an acceptable practice, however, an explanation as to why some of those ideas of yours could prove to be legally problematic..
but with that article and the impending shut down of backpage, and the crazy laws that politicians are trying to get passed, the nation wide crackdown on prostitution,, how long do you think it will be before they start going after Providers in this industry using legal means other than the soliciting of sex?
Henceforth why review sites such as TER **applause** allows for the research of well reviewed providers. And other sites that providers have to be vouched for by other providers or hobbyists for their verification.
And has posters like Wad who is ridiculously resourceful at finding and outting fake pics..

please dont shoot the messenger,

Just a friendly suggestion for the genuine ladies that post on Backpage. Make it easy for us to find you in the sea of fake ads.
Here are a few ideas:
* Have at least one picture near an easy or recognize local landmark. I would love to see your sexy pose near well known nightclub, Nicollet Mall, Hennepin Ave or the Fair.
* Wear a sports jersey from a local team.
* A copy of a local newspaper next to you on the bed
* If possible show your face, even if blurred it makes the ad much more likely to be real.
* Update your pictures on a regular basis.
* Don’t post stolen pics
Watch your business grow as the locals know your are the real deal. Speaking for myself I would trade the security of knowing that you are real for all of the expensive airbrushed shoots on Backpage.
