The wording in his review was sufficiently weird (not simply divergent) that I checked his others - and my post followed that research. I think our difference of opinion is that I'm not so sure certain "weird" opinions are useful to others.
Here's one example from one of his other reviews - where he gave a 7 for appearance, "This girl is hot, don't let the seven fool ya ..." What??
That's the type of thing that evoked my "got issues" thinking. I also think that's it's generally bad form to allow your appearance score to be affected by early miscommunication.
(As an aside, it makes me think that if something like that ever happens to me (again), I'll just do a U-turn and deal with any backlash later.)
Anyone else notice the recent Halle review 8 and 8 with the quote "Her scores are higher than i think they would be if she charged more but for the money she is a brilliant find" I have not seen Halle but didn't think she was on the low price side.
I honestly haven't a clue what this guy is trying to say.
Now I haven't seen Halle, don't know her and have no intention of becoming anyone's white knight but it appears he wants to penalize a lady because she is hot or a model based on the first sentence in the second paragraph. "I am starting to avoid giving providers 9's and 10's that come from magazine pages" or something like that.
I am still scratching my head about the sentence you quoted. Is he trying to say her scores are higher because she charges more or he gave her a lower score because her rates are not high enough?
The meaty part of the review is like gangbusters. I would be grateful to a provider if she got me to break a sweat in 30 minutes, broke the bed to pieces (don't forget the hotel bill), offered all positions on second pop, BBBJTC and then took a walk with me for a smoke (I don't smoke).
I have seen a few head spinning reviews like this and I am sure it won't be the last but it is what you expect when you have a community as big as ours and participants from many different walks of life.
He's saying that for the price he can understand why people shower her with 10s. However in his opinion, better can be had at significantly higher prices. Not my way of rating but who is to judge? Someone might give a 7 because they didn't get DFK + BBBJ while the next guys gives her a 9 because she painted a smile on his face that lasted 3 days.
saying what he said in a different way but I am not him.
I have no problem with the scores he gave her by the way. That is between himself and the provider. My point was that there was a lot of stuff going on in that review which didn't add up from my point of view.
my point is if Halle's previous reviews have been inflated due to her "lower end" rate then this guy is out of my league. Fortunately their is something for everyone. Just thought it was an interesting comment
I really don't like that he ranked based on price. After the business is done, the encounter should stand on it's own IMO.
A look through this guy's reviews is revealing but I will only comment very narrowly that
Halle, among other things, is a MODEL.
Not just model material, a published model ... because of, and displaying her model-like appearance (and not for Kohl's or Sears).
If she's not someone's taste, that's one thing, but her pics a very accurate. I'm a photographer (not her's, though) AND have met her - I KNOW what's real. Photoshop?? Of course, but not to alter her appearance - only to enhance the emotion of the pics. If this guy is such a fukin brilliant trophy hunter, he can easily see what's makeup, what's Photoshop and what's studio lighting and therefore should know exactly what to expect when meeting. Photoshop? What a remarkably shallow comment!
With Halle, there's no point in making her figure or face different! What you see in the pics is what you get. IMHO, Halle's MINIMUM appearance score is an objective 9. Consider a different example: I personally dislike Angelina Jolie's appearance compared to other top models/celebrities and even to other many "normal" women, but (if she were in the business) I would either not see her (the wise choice) ... or give her an objective 9 for appearance. Like her or not, she's a 9 minimum. Yeah, yeah, "It's my opinion." Well, I contend that opinion is a highly abused construct.
It's why, if I were King, providers would be allowed to take one of their highest scores and one of their lowest, say for each 25 or so, and toss them out, no questions asked (both scores have to go, though). It works for the Olympics to assure fairness, so why not here?
Summing up, the review in question is ego run amok.
PS I've only met Halle once and am not her personal protector. Mostly, I'm just pissed 1) at the notion that it's OK to give any opinion you want, regardless of the objective reality and 2) the candy-ass comment about Photoshop. My obvious take is that this guy scored her lower because of the bumpy start regarding rules (his sloppy handling of the donation, I'm guessing) and he never got over it - couldn't handle the rebuke or whatever.
I have to disagree with your reasoning on objective scoring versus opinions. My review scores should be my opinion of her looks and performance, not what I think most guys would review her as. You are of course free to disagree with my opinion. When I read reviews, I am looking for opinions to help me decide if I think I would enjoy seeing her. If people write reviews based on what they think most guys would rate someone as then the reviews lose value. Now some people don't give honest opinions; they will reviews as a way to get back at someone with whom they have an axe to grind. I don't know if any of that applies here but an 8/8 is in no way a bad score.
