So, the *very* first time I ever gave a sensual massage I had a very nice fellow come in, who has since become a regular (not sure if you're here! Hello, "J"!) I was nervous as all get out but wanted to present myself as new to the area only, since I wasn't certain, as a brand new provider what I'd encounter with my clients! I said I'd been doing massage for a while and went about the session in what I hoped was an enjoyable fashion.
After we were done, I attempted to open the door to the room, it's in an old building and I hadn't been informed that the door sometimes sticks, and boy was it stuck! We both tried to open it but to no avail! After fumbling in the mostly darkened room, I finally gave up and flicked on the lights, still stuck...I tried calling my studio mate, who told me another of our providers was in the room across the way, finishing up a session. I was freaking out inside but trying to remain calm, my client was also rather visibly nervous...asking if this happened before. Of course the answer was "no" because I'd never *done* this before!
Finally after almost ten minutes we used a piece from a pen as a shim and popped the door open. Yay for MacGyver moments! Yikes.
Anyway, that has never happened again, thank goodness, and the fellow in question has been back to see me many times since. I'm glad that less than stellar impression wasn't as bad as I thought!
