Actually the guideline about the link has been there for months.  It helps other members find the provider.

As for new providers with no reviews, there is an exception:

if a new provider, (no TER reviews), the hobbyist can shill provided he submits a review within 72 hrs (Violators of this policy will lose their message posting privileges)

I have seen shills for reviewed providers that linked to a personal web site or one of the other advertising sites, rather than a TER Profile, so I think it is worthwhile that you chime in occasionally to remind us what you want.

I am content to follow the rules, so long as I know what they are.

(Might want to add that 'new provider' language to your shill thread guideline, in addition to the mini review guideline. Just sayin'.)
