I wonder why, like, 30 local providers disappeared from date-check.

I use P411 and RoomService2000. When I choose to use Date-Check, I will reactivate my profile. Until then, I will be MIA on Date-Check.

I see mostly travellers and have never had any agency ask me for date-check.

Most require at least P411 and many are now requiring RS2K as well.  I currently also belong to date-check but I will not renew.  Nobody seems to use it.

GML travels so I agree that P411 and RS2K are the way to go.

I personally feel alot more comfortable with RS2K because the screening of me was top notch and tough to get through.

There is a lot more to the situation than meets the eyes. 30+ providers do not quit date-check and deactivate their profiles overnight.

Your explanation "Perhaps because some of us choose not to use Date-Check" is a poor excuse and runs away from an even bigger question. Why?

Trying to change the subject by directing the poster to two other verification sites that you use is simply ignoring the problem and question asked by the original poster.

What I mean is, there are about 30 less now than there was, like, 3 days ago. Did that many bail out on DC in 72 hours? I went with DC since they offered a lifetime membership. I guess, perhaps, I should have gone with P411. I didn't bother with RS2K since I heard it's nopt worth it unless you live/frequent Chicago. I just check on RS2K and there are a whopping 2 providers listed for all of Minnesota.

If a local provider wants someone who is REALLY screened....they'll use RS2K.  Doesn't matter who chooses to advertise there.

This reliance on references from local providers they don't know is not nearly as secure.  Plus I find it troubling to bother one gal just to fuck another.  Kinda rude if you ask me.

I just received notice that my former free membership will expire in a few days.  Renewal requires paying a fee or referring friends of mine to the site for membership.  I prefer to do neither.  Perhaps there are other ladies whose memberships are up and feel the same way.  I took a peek  and did not notice any recent provider omissions.  Perhaps I am looking in a different spot.

1. There is a life time membership that is very VERY reasonable. I'm not going to be cheap when it comes to my safety and ease of screening.
2. I can give a referral on different levels:
-I recommend
-I highly recommend
-I recommend but ymmv
-I DO NOT recommend
-I have never seen this client before

Unlike P411, TER whitelist and RS2K for verification, DC is better as a communication tool for the ladies referrals. (Versus just a provider ok, I like having options). Don't get me wrong, I belong to P411 as well. I have many options for screening potential friends

I believe that the answer to the OPs question is: The ladies disappeared from DC, because their 'free' membership trial ran out on the same day.

One way to have more ladies use DC is to encourage them or refer them to the site. I wonder if they can be on P411 for free, why be so cheap when it comes to other screening options for potential clients. DC comes in at under $150 for a life time membership!

I can think of 3 or 4 from memory that I know are now missing, but don't think I should list names from another site here.

Anyway, I just filled out all the info for P411 since it looks as if it's going to be the only one left that has local ladies. RS2K has 2, and date-check dropped from low 60's to 35 and, given what you've said, will most likely be dropping lower. I just wish I hadn't spent the money for a lifetime membership. C'est la vie.

I gotta say the info requested is more in depth than date-check. I assume they'll be calling me at work tomorrow.

I guess the bright side is that once they call me, come out for the blood/dna sample, and run the retinal scan, I'll be, like, super verified. You'll be able to type CarnalCry in and know what color socks I have on that day and if I took my vitamins.

On a separate note: I'm still doing my darndest to be able to visit you one of these days.

if a lady prefers not to renew a membership, pay a fee or share client addresses with a particular referral site, that she has reasons specific to her own business plan.  I do not think it is fair to say it is evidence of being "cheap." Nor do I think it is indicative of lack of safe and thorough screening.  I also do not diminish the value of the site for those who find it beneficial.

I am still a member but received significant notice of the expiration date, therefore I have had reasonable time to consider the decision I have made "for now."   I assume the ladies who "disappeared" also received notice and had their own reasons for opting not to renew, or perhaps they simply forgot.  In any case, I still see a great number of local providers still listed.

Can you please elaborate what kind of "addresses" we are talking about here? Are we talking about email addresses, home addresses, work addresses or what?

It's Date-Check's prerogative if they want providers to pay for a membership and it is also a provider's or hobbyist's prerogative to pay or not to pay a membership fee and join such a site.

I am not naive to think that providers hang on to our personal information even though most providers claim they don't but to think that some providers may actually be willing to share our private information with other organizations / individuals for personal gain is extreme.

Look, there is no conspiracy theory. I am quite legit and reputable, and many people know this. The other 29 profiles might be of legit ladies as well. Since we can only speculate, I thought it would be helpful to offer a plausible explanation as to why a Date-Check profile might be taken down. My profile was removed because after a year of having a free membership with Date-Check and never using it, I refuse to pay the lifetime membership fee or actively recruit my friends just to keep a membership to a service I have NEVER used. It is that simple. There’s no attempting to divert anyone’s attention. I was just giving a helpful explanation which I hope did not go deaf on everyone else’s ears.

By the way, I pay for RS2K because I frequent Chicago often. When I advertise there, I advertise in the Chicago section, not the Minnesota one. Also, I have many friends in Minneapolis who signed up for RS2K five years ago and forgot about their $50 lifetime membership until they found me. Well, their lifetime membership finally came in handy. Thank goodness.

Also, I like P411 because it is free to providers and offers other features like profiles for the gents, OKs, etc.

Anyway, since none of us know for sure why the other 29 profiles were taken down, there really is no point in speculating about something we can't answer.

A lifetime membership fee with RS2K is only $50. I have many friends in Minneapolis who signed up for RS2K five years ago and forgot about their $50 lifetime membership until they found me. Well, their lifetime membership finally came in handy.

Anyway, there may only be two MN providers with RS2K ads up, but there are still other ladies signed up for their verification services. A lady does not have to have an ad up to utilize the verification services of RS2K.

With that said, P411 is probably the best choice for Minneapolis.

It definitely has nothing to do with being cheap with one's safety. RS2K is far more expensive than Date-Check in the long run. However, I found that I rarely received inquiries from guys who provided Date-Check information. I think P411 is a lot more popular in Minneapolis, but even in NYC, etc. I have maybe received a handful (five guys in a year and a half, for example) who tried to use Date-Check as their means of verification. Interesting...

They ask that a lady provide a gentleman's email address so they can spam them with an invite to Date-Check. Again, the service works for some ladies, and not for others. If the lady doesn't want to provide her client's email addresses, she can pay a membership fee. But again, if a lady has NEVER used the service, it makes no sense to pay the site anything, thus her profile will eventually be pulled.

I applaud all providers who choose to take a stand and boycott Date-Check. It is unfortunate for guys who have already paid for their membership.

As I am not a member, now I wish I knew providers who are not members of that site. I can see a provider who is a member of that site using alternative means and bam, she gives my email to Date-Check!

Truth be told, one of the reasons I did not sign up for Date-Check is the poor design of the site. Not very customer friendly and appears to be a hodgepodge of a lot of stuff.

It appears the reasons have been cleared up in the posts below. I only wish you might have been more forthcoming regarding why providers are choosing to give up their membership or profiles were deleted.

I am not a member but a couple of fellow hobbyists inquired via back channel if I knew what was going on. So, I knew something was up but I couldn't put my finger on it.

That's what happens when I have a hot date waiting for me and only two minutes to type.

Just a matter of whether a lady wants to pay for a referral/reference site or not.  I like all three for specific reasons.

As another lady stated, the pro's of DC would be provider input and free 3 month trial.  Five star ratings from top notch providers throughout the country is a feather in one's cap.  No other site allows this.

I don't refer hobbyists to any verification site unless asked.  I pay for my memberships.    

Hobbyists costs for DC: Clients with references from entertainers verified by DATE CHECK can enjoy a 3 month free trial membership. After which, they can continue their membership by submitting a payment. Payment options are as follows: $12.95 monthly, $24.95 quarterly, $39.95 semi-annual, $69.25 annual and $124.95 lifetime

RS2K has a 50.00 lifetime verification fee.  A must if traveling to Chicago.

P411: An annual membership fee of $69.00 dollars is required when becoming a member of Preferred411.com.

...no longer appear in the listings. That would explain part of it. Maybe it's a new year clean up.
I haven't used Date Check yet since I've become a member but it's just easier to keep my membership up to date rather than have to become re-certified should I let it lapse. Between P411 and DC I'm pretty well covered throughout the country, and Canada, too, eh?
