"Kindness" is the key word.

See what you guys and gals think about this. Everyone that is active in the hobby owes at least one person a debt of gratitude. Every guy had to find at least one girl to take them without a reference. Those who have hobby’d for a while have probably had more than a few girls take appointments based on trust. The only way to get a good reputation is to see someone and have them vouch for you.

As for the ladies, the same applies. Some guy had to TOFTT for your first date. Assuming you got that first guy to post a review, you still have to be thankful he took a risk on you. I’m sure that the ladies will clarify just how many guys it took before they were truly well reviewed on TER. Say one out of every 5 guys does reviews and it takes 2 or more good reviews for the guys to trust you they probably had a few guys take the risk to see if you were for real.

I take 2 points away from this. One is that we should probably be nicer to the newbies with dumb questions. (We still get to abuse the porkers asking for easy busts). We were all new once and without new guys and gals the hobby stagnates and dies. Ironically, the trolls are doing the work of the LE.

Two, we should all take a step back before ripping someone and think about the fact that is someone had never given us the benefit of the doubt, we wouldn’t be in the hobby today.

This last page of posts is nice to see.   There are thoughtful people on here.

Nicely put. I can blow off the trolls, but it would be nice if we could just have a conversation or help out a noob without getting hassled by know-it-alls. That's not what we're all coming here for.

Might want to ask one's self why the need to put others down. You could gain additional insight about yourself if you can answer the question
