foot massage

I'm a happy hobbiest who has recently started to develop numb and occasionally burning feet.  I'm hoping someone can recommend a lady who really knows how to rub feet.  (Rubbing other body parts would be good too but I really am looking for someone who might provide a bit of relief.)  I'm not a foot fetishist, yet, but could easily become one if the therapy works.  Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

What you describe sounds pretty serious.

I have.  Not all that serious.   Official diagnosis is "peripheral neuropathy" which is described by many docs as a "spectator sport".  That's why alternative treatments, like foot massage or reflexology, are recommended.  BTW, I have lots of positive references.

Not that serious???????  Are you kidding?? That is whats wrong with the world we listen to the wrong people that like to watch and then do nothing that matters for too long......well maybe you could wait for the medical docs to get there head out of their ass and tell you that now if they looked at all,  it is teetering on full blown diabetes and just wait for your kidneys, eyes, and pancreas to quit working.... ya then you can look forward to some limb amputation and erectile dysfunction just sort of comes along with the vascular problems.
maybe you should clean up your diet and get your blood sugar under control remembering that that is the LAST thing that elevates after your blood insulin has been high for years, followed by your blood lipids, your weight has been going the wrong way and now your waist is greater than half your height (apple shaped and belly fat may ring true)......sure go have someone rub your feet at least until the toes fall off from gangrene......alternative care is what will fix this but not by starting with a foot rub....and btw FOOT4U off 55 has some great foot rub therapists....just sayin
good luck and sounds pretty serious to me.

I seriously laughed my ass off ... I could imagine those words coming right out your mouth

Yes mr op please have your blood sugar checked

Yeah until you get sores that won't heal and then they have to amputate half or the whole foot!
Massage is not the best thing for most neuropathy, especially any deep tissue work because it can cause more damage.
I'd get a second opinion also.

Last winter I had a serious infection and went to the doc.  You guessed it, I also have diabetes.  I too had the numb and tingling feet.  Of course this is where the medical community falls flat on it's face.  Instead of  helping you eliminate your symptoms they put you on meds and "manage" your diabetes.  They send you to a dietician and put you on a diet full of the very things that gave you diabetes in the first place!  I did it their way for a month or so with a moderate drop in blood sugar,  After a little research I decided that was bullshit and started doing a little research.  I ended up going on the Paleo diet.  My blood glucose levels plummeted.  I cut my meds in half.  They still went down so I cut all meds.  They eventually dropped to normal.  I eat no grain (bread, pasta, potatoes, etc).  No processed sugar.  I do eat fresh fruit and home grown squash.  I eat lots of healthy fats (animal fats and olive oil) and a lot of meat  and eggs.  I eat all the right kinds of food I want.   I also dropped about 50 pounds.

kudos to you tink !!! that is what is needed but most people just want to name it (if they even do that on time) blame it, and tame it with a drug ...so while they poison you you watch something else go bad.....just wait til Mr J is not responsive and see where the complaining goes,
your diet and exercise should be your first line of therapy ....then go get your feet rubbed.

Nobody does a foot rub like Nataila .. she rubs other stuff too and is a great kisser ..

You should see a doctor as it can get much much much worse, including paralysis and impotence.

Same thing's happened to me.  No fun.  Read what the others have posted.  Take it seriously.

The neuropathy can be slowed down (or stopped), but it's irreversible.  You won't get back what's lost now.  So, get it checked out and change your lifestyle.  I wish I'd done so long ago.  I have now, and have lost 30 pounds in the last six months.  But, the numbness will always be with me.

I do know one in the Spring Lake Park area. Her name is Merrilee. Foot massage only - I don't THINK she does anything erotic at all. Email me for phone info if interested.
