speaking out

I have heard my name bounced around as being Max.  I can assure you that  I am not.   I received one of the very first emails and I've been cc'd on several others.  It freaked me out so I have not been posting much and have not been seeing anyone. Whoever is telling some of you that I am Max is seriously mistaken.  It's not me.  What  Max is doing is counter productive to what I stand for and preach for------safety.   This is all that I will say on the subject.

...absurd, that is the very first word and sentiment that crosses me when I read that Belinda is being fingered here.

 As someone who has known Belinda for many years, in and out of the hobby world, I am very sure this is impossible.  The woman I know is altruistic,  caring, and simply does not have "Max" in her being. I find it just that, absurd, to know anyone thinks that.

Belinda has a heart of gold. She has kept many women safe in so many ways. And, that goes for hobbyists, too.  

It doesn't take a whole lot for our community here to get *rattled* unfortunately, due to prior happenings. Accusations and gossip always fly around when something happens. This accusation is unjust and misdirected. I feel very, very strongly about that.

 Many of us have have received these threats and needless harassment, Belinda included. It is sad and unjust. Even moreso, because Belinda put aside her own fears and helped and guided several other providers during the whole Max fiasco.

Who Stole The Cookie From The Cookie Jar?

It is sad to see that in a place that relies heavily on cooperation,  that people are racking up friendly fire points. Also on a target that is not armed to do battle in this manner. I was always told that if someone creates a game in which you cannot win, to create my own and play that game until others are jealous/envious  and want to play too. So keep playing your game Belinda and the good you do will rub off eventually

Belinda, NOBODY would believe these rumors.

EVERYONE in this community needs to STOP pointing fingers and name calling.  
Max is a non issue. If we ignore it, the piece of shit will move on. He did in November. Max made a few idle threats and when we quit responding Max resorted to forwarding emails responses he got (like we cared). MANY of us have moved on, but only a few keep bringing this up.  
I wonder why?

Belinda is a friend of mine. A close friend. Don't flap your trap unless you've got proof. Nobody has shown me proof Belinda is Max -just finger pointing. No proof equals libel.  

Meh, back to 2014.... 2013 issues are old news. Leave the dead horse alone; my mob friends will be by later to disarticulate its head.

If I were to make a guess

I would guess Max is pointing the finger. The whole mess is nothing more than an attempt to disrupt or control the hobby.

Why on earth would you admit if you were?  
Yeah. im not going to hide behind an alias to make my opinions on this board like you and a few others have accusing that its Hilary.  

Sorry Sam, Belinda isnt my friend and just because she is yours doesnt mean we have to keep our mouths shut.. no proof does not equal libel, we are entitled to our opinions based on the information we exchange with those whom WE trust. And just because you trust her doesnt mean the rest of us do.  
And you throwing your weight around isnt going to stop anyone from having their opinion.  
You may not think its Belinda, and good for you she is your friend, but you dont have the right to say that no one else cant have their own opinion.  
You guys didnt have a problem accusing Hilary with no proof...  

When the idea was brought to my attention, it made more sense then those that were accusing Hilary of being Max, and there were a few who were almost desperate to convince everyone that it was her.  

Hilary attacked Belinda publicly in her twitter , so its not a stretch to think that Belinda would want to get back at her for that. Belinda may be nice to some providers , but has also been rude and spread rumors about others based on her dislike of them. So I dont think it is out of her capabilities to do this.

Im not a Hilary fan, but I've never been a fan of those who form groups to segregate themselves from others and pretend that they are better than everyone else either.  

Just because you say you are not Max doesnt mean you are not Max..  
And please , stop sending me emails trying to convince me otherwise.  
My distrust of you was there prior to this Max incident.  
Lets stop blaming all the trust issues in this community on the Max situation since there were issues present prior to Max rearing his/her ugly head.  

Here is why I think it is you.  

The personal information that was sent to me was dug up doing a property search, and Secretary of State Business search, and when I showed that to a fellow provider she said the only person she knew that did those kind of searches was you.  

In an email that Max sent to me he referenced a post I put on a Provider only board that you are a member of that I know that the Admin of that board does very extensive screening to make sure that only Providers and Assistants are allowed on that board.  

You've done screening for alot of local ladies and have handled the personal and private information of alot of Local MN clients, something that this Max person brags about in his/her emails..
I wouldnt put it past  you to abuse that because of how you have treated a few of my friends in the community.  

I dont remember you sending out an email informing providers and clients of what they can do to protect themselves. From my understanding, you talked shit about a few providers, and had them outted them from your little club when they didnt agree with you prior to closing it down.  

Like I said before, Im going to believe my friends and the people I trust in this community.  
And SG is wrong, MAx didnt quiet down after it was brought up in November actually he/she sent out a few more emails like 4 of them dated in December,, I have them and posted them , and offered to forward them to anyone who requested them. I was also happy to share the info and research I did on reporting Max with everyone, not just those select few.  
I was happy staying out of this , until Max started including me in on the emails.  
And now Im entitled to the research I do about , and my opinion on the matter.  

Here's the thing about safety and security, those conversations are not reserved for the select few as you have treated it. Safety and Security is something that you share with everyone regardless of your personal opinion of them. Safety and Security isnt something you corner the market on and is not mutually exclusive to those who pay for your services.  And based on what I know of you , that is how you have treated it as well as others Im friends with.  

I see that hobbyists and providers that hold back their opinion because they are afraid of getting ganged up on here. And I think because of that , now we have the Max situation. People on this board have treated eachtother like shit and now we have the Max situation.  
We have had providers and hobbyists refer to the "cool person" table, and there are those at that table who have gone out of their way to treat others like shit and put them down.  

Clearly I see that there are hobbyists who will now put me on their shit list because I believe it is Belinda. And thats perfectly ok with me. Im not here to pretend to be everyone's favorite person.  
I dont run my business by kissing ass and pretending to be something Im not, to make everyone happy.  
Im perfectly happy being me, having the freedom to voice my opinions and know that I have clients who will see me regardless of what my opinions are of people in this community.  
And Im perfectly ok with having conversations with those who ask my opinion and hear what others people opinions are based on what they know and exchange information.  

Do I now have to be afraid that you are going to spread rumors, tell stories and try and hurt my business because I dont hold a high opinion of you ?  
I know that is what you have done to others and Im more apt to believe them because you have already tried to do that to me once.

If you have emails both from Belinda and Max why not just compare the IP and ISP addresses and you should be able to tell if they were from the same computer, phone or ISP.?

Congrats for you speaking your mind. I do only thru alias because of getting messed with in the past.
No matter if your right or wrong, I think your wrong to say there was no proof that it was HH. That's a matter of opinion. Some people think the continued bad mouthing of MN providers that leak out into her reviews along with some stuff on her twitter, makes it look like she has an axe to grind.  
Also I think someone pointed out the fact that whatever was going to be brought public by Max was set to do so exactly one year after her publicity.
Whose to say who's right? The people who finally figure it out after the investigation (if there is one) is complete, that's who actually & I'll be the first to admit I could be wrong, I am after all only human. Please do not count me into someone who specifically tried to point a finger just because I have an acquired dislike for HH.  
     Anyway I don't care as long as the people I care about are safe from this kind of crap, but please understand that there may be a whole lot you've never heard about why people come to their own conclusions. I think your very brave for speaking your mind, but I sure don't believe your half as angry as you sometimes sound, I really hope that the complaints of cyber bully-ing and stalking result in this Max person being found out. I'm thankful to those who are giving us the resources to complain if they've been harassed, no matter what anyone's opinion is, it shouldn't tear us all apart!

Do you recall how YOU handled our PM exchange when I began talking about a cyber bully (Max or not)? Do you remember WHO you threw under the bus in your reply to me? Do you remember not even ACKNOWLEDGING that MAX could be real and be a threat?

I will not engage here in your pissing match -I NEVER said you were not allowed to have a different opinion.  

When will you suggest a solution to the Max issue vs keep bring it up? When will you suggest options to make the Minnesota scene a more sex positive work atmosphere? Why do you point fingers with out actual proof (ie matching IP address)?  

Solutions I've posted:
Ignore the cyber bully/stalker
Get along with other sex workers in a positive way
No name calling or finger pointing

Belinda has badmouthed MN providers plenty herself, she backchanneled and used her group to do so and would spread rumors and stories about providers she did not like..  
And im sure she is pissed that someone in her group said something about it,, but you know that means someone thought using a group to talk shit , spread rumors and badmouth others was not a proactive safety type group. Belinda has badmouthed just as many if not more people in this community than Hilary.

I have one review, and ive been pretty open and vocal about my opinion on the review process, just because you chose to make it everyone's business what you do in behind closed doors doesnt mean the rest of us have to get in line.  

You didnt offer an open door for anything, you came on the board making baseless accusations without the offering of any proof.. I didnt shut any door, and you didnt offer anything except your opinion.. again you are not one of my trusted friends , so why should I believe what you say.

We are more concerned that there is enough info out there that Belinda,  who makes a point to shit on providers  she doesnt like and spread rumors has it within her capacity to pull off the Max stunt.  
There are quite a few people out there who have had a different experience with Belinda than you have and they are entitled to their opinion on the matter, including myself.  

It gets tiring hearing how you are "above" this because of who you are when there is ample posts out there where you do the same thing to Hilary without proof..  
Im starting to see that its ok to discuss the Max thing as long as the opinions fall in lines with your rather than thinking or saying anything that disagree with you.  

I think Max is Belinda, there are others that feel that way to .. deal with it.

Well Belinda for that I'm sorry. I go on here to state my opinion not to look like someone I'm not. I'm done defending why I use an alias I have basically spelled it out to anyone who cares to read my posts, yet somehow to some- my reasons aren't  good enough. I'm done with all this craziness. I honestly have never even heard your name until I read it on these postings about Max. I also have no opinion of you at all since we've never met.
     I'm done with getting into what I'm always assuming is a grown up discussion about real peoples opinions,and some facts when it consistently changes into a tacky catty mess! I had issues with a person who many mistakenly see as a victim.  
I, along with others I know,have actually been victimized by this person, I never felt a need to whine or cry out for help my only intention was to simply warn others that they should be careful of one who so often is behind unneeded drama. That's it that's all. Too bad some are so off base here. If people really are thinking we are one in the same that really gives me no hope that this Max thing will ever be cleared up!

Well Belinda for that I'm sorry. I go on here to state my opinion not to look like someone I'm not. I'm done defending why I use an alias I have basically spelled it out to anyone who cares to read my posts, yet somehow to some- my reasons aren't  good enough. I'm done with all this craziness. I honestly have never even heard your name until I read it on these postings about Max. I also have no opinion of you at all since we've never met.  
      I'm done with getting into what I'm always assuming is a grown up discussion about real peoples opinions,and some facts when it consistently changes into a tacky catty mess! I had issues with a person who many mistakenly see as a victim.  
 I, along with others I know,have actually been victimized by this person, I never felt a need to whine or cry out for help my only intention was to simply warn others that they should be careful of one who so often is behind unneeded drama. That's it that's all. Too bad some are so off base here. If people really are thinking we are one in the same that really gives me no hope that this Max thing will ever be cleared up!

Ok, I told Samantha I was staying off this board, but...

I have known Samantha for quite some time, and just in the last few months we have communicated much more than in the past. I have grown to trust her opinions on many things, including this. I trust her very much.

Cat, we exchanged a few emails this past week, and these attacks on Samantha make you look like a very mean spirited person. A person I now know that I for one, do not want to meet now. Cat, this is EXACTLY what MAX wants to happen, providers and hobbyists confronting each other with accusations, be they true or not. We all need to watch out for each other, not throw each other under the bus.

So please, use Samantha's recommendations:

Ignore the cyber bully/stalker
Get along with other sex workers in a positive way
No name calling or finger pointing  

This is suppose to be fun for everyone, correct? This is 2014, lets all move on and think about the good things this hobby community has to offer, like the wonderful people you meet. I know for me, this past year was a disaster in the first half, but rebounded rather nicely in the second half. Thank you ladies for making the second half of last year much better for me. They have succeeded in causing more trouble than they probably ever imagined they could.

To my mind, the question is who benefits from this.  The vast majority of us, both escorts and hobbyists, do not benefit as this just sews mistrust amongst us.  But someone out there doesn't care about that; their interest, for whatever irrational reason, is to cause chaos.  Figure out who that is and you MIGHT be on to something.  But also keep in mind that, without a smoking gun, you could easily be wrong and in that case making accusations is only doing Max's work for him/her/they.

Opinions are never wrong

Only when an opinion declares something as being a fact can it be wrong. If you say it's cold out, that's your opinion and it doesn't matter what the temp is. If you say it's freezing outside and the temp is over 32 degrees then your "opinion" is wrong because you have made a statement that is factually untrue, baring a change in the way water reacts to temperatures (notice I didn't say "bearing")  
And you love to hack on the aliases but you expect that a "quote" from and unnamed author should be considered as evidence. Seems to me someone with no name has a lot less cred than someone using an alias.

(It appears that perhaps Max or one of his/her compatriots is logged in today, and preferred that this post be buried in an old thread vs. starting a new one. Whatever...... hope whoever it was enjoys the 2 free VIP days.)  

There's a category of computer viruses known as "virus hoaxes".  As explained by Wikipedia (see link):
 
"Most hoaxes are sensational in nature and easily identified by the fact that they indicate that the virus will do nearly impossible things, like blow up the recipient's computer and set it on fire, or less sensationally, delete everything on the user's computer. They often include fake announcements claimed to originate from reputable computer organizations together with mainstream news media. Does any of that seem familiar to anyone?  
 
I am wondering if anyone else has considered that the Max Attack might be nothing more than an elaborate hoax, designed to create havoc by counting on recipients to pass the emails, PMs etc. along to others, through multiple channels. And Max and his/her partners in crime can simply sit back and laugh while others do their dirty work for them..... building distrust within the community; providers and hobbyists taking sides and beating each other up; disruption of the business of some providers, and the activities of some hobbyists.
 
One indication that we are facing a hoax: there was a statement reported to be from Max about specific actions to be taken on a specific date. That date has long since past. What happened? There's no indication ANYTHING happened. And likely it won't happen.... unless Max and his/her cronies have a Death Wish, relative to any future participation in the hobby as a provider or a hobbyist.
 
With virus hoaxes, the best way to deal with them is to hit the Delete key for the email. (Or perhaps move it to an archive, in case evidence is needed for legal/LE action later. And report the virus hoax to the proper authorities, if so inclined.)
 
But if no one forwards them, they die a quick death.

GalIhad, you show me what the hell you consider attacking?!? To go on a board and state my opinion and to not even come close to getting specific about how I have been and continue to be harassed by VM/HH is a very far cry from attack! Leave the dramatic wording for the dramatic, over the top people who seem to have to much anger in them and time on their hands.  
It seems like the couple times I check in on this post someone is mistakenly saying something incorrect about me, I now have to again defend myself, such as no I'm NOT Belinda, and I sure as hell am not attacking anyone!! That is exactly what prompted me to speak out in the very first place having been attacked by HH and shame on more people for not speaking out there are people on this board who KNOW first hand how VM/HH manipulates and bad mouthes others, I state FACT on that,the proof is in her last couple reviews where you can plainly read that she gossips! So much so that it's written about in her reviews! Please get your head out of your ass, and don't talk about what you don't know about!!

You used my previous post about MAx to inject your suspicions that its Hilary,, and then I think it Belinda based on the same issues ,, she's attacks other providers who she doesnt like, she's even gone as so far as to threaten LE.. and I think based on the way Max writes its Belinda..

Its seems to easy for alot of people in this community to turn to these behaviors when someone has an opinion or a thought that doesnt get in line with the rest of everyone else.  
It hasnt changed my mind that I think Belinda is Max and that the crappy things she has pulled on providers in this community are no better than the things that Hilary has done.  
Its almost like they are two peas in a pod, its just that their delivery methods differ.  

No one has bothered to introduce alternative options or opinions, its been more of the "trash-talking how dare you have an opinion that doesnt agree with us" same old same old..  
The whole intimidation and verbally beating up on people may work with alot of other providers and hobbyists, but it doesnt work with me.  The opinions I express here, dont affect my business or my bottom line.  
Its funny really, I have encouraging and supportive emails about the things Ive said in this thread from people who have verbally spanked me in this same thread and on the same day no less. People are not allowed to be themselves here because as soon as there is a difference of opinion there is this verbal gang bang that goes on. And people give in to it.  

Or we have people such as Belinda and Hilary and others who will use bullying, lies, manipulation, start rumors, trash talk and try and hurt other providers business because someone rubbed them the wrong way.  
Or we have Hobbyists that will threaten to go to their Hobbyist grape vine and do the same thing.  
not to mention how easy it has become for people with a serious case of the "butt hurts" that will go to extremes like threatening to pull in LE or threatening to out ...  
And a bunch of people who will use the Hilary issue as an excuse to scapegoat their own negative behavior.  

And we are all supposed to be adults.. lol

For some of us entering the "hobby" as it is called was a chance to meet new people, have some fun, escape the drama whether it be real or created.
That being said, everyone IS entitled to their opinion, after all that is what it is, it belongs to you...period.
I only know what I know and have experienced. HH is a wonderful woman and has helped me through some really tough times. My opinion!
I don't care who Max is or was...there is so much tragedy and suffering in the world, do we have to add to that here?
We all have our reasons for being part of this community, let us enjoy the journey,and maybe follow those words we all have heard,"..if you don't have anything nice to say about someone, don't say it." If you don't care for a provider that's what the reviews are for...

I can say from personal experience that both Samantha Good and Belinda are two of the nicest and most caring ladies in this hobby.  people that have to stir things up to keep themselves entertained need to get a library card or some other means to amuse themselves.  Just my opinion.  bigdell

I rarely spend time on these forums and this kind of vacuous conversation is one of the reasons.  I agree with Cat when she state the "You are a hypocrite…etc."  I have been a client of HH/Valery for about two years and the attacks on her are relentless.  The persistent suggestion that she is working with LE is so idiotic and tiresome and yet it continues.  She has what, over 200 reviews, and many of them since her unfortunate interaction with LE,….can this line of attack just stop….it is mindless and absurd.  Why not just use the truth which is that she has been and continues to be a very successful and very well reviewed provider, not because she blackmails her clients or uses coercion but because she truly is a 10/10.  She is smart, entrepreneurial, and markets her self like an astute businesswomen (which is what she is).  99% OF US WOULD WITHER AND DIE as a result of the effects of her arrest and the subsequent vicious and obvious self-serving attacks of her so called enemies.But…amazingly she soldiers on and amazingly enough seems to find some way to learn and grow from her miserable experience.  She is a person to envy and embrace in this business instead of trying to push out due to her success and savvy.  Isn't anybody else tired of this adolescent type character bashing and gossiping?  Please, move on to something that matters because, as Cat says, the persistent conversation and gossip about HH really does not hurt her business but seems to make her more prominent and resilient.  I would suggest that, for the mental health of everyone involved, move on to someone else and get back to business ladies etc.
