Hi all....me AGAIN. I am looking to get more input on where would be best to stay....area wise. I guess an area that's easy to get to from different directions would be best. I keep hearing all different areas but I think people are saying what's good for them....distance wise. LOL! Once again....thanks in advance for the help!

With the criss crossing freeways, it is quite easy to move between city centers and suburbs from anywhere EXCEPT during rush hour. Then, as in all metropolitan areas, all bets are off.

Most visitors seem to pool around the airport and the Mall of America, naturally, in Bloomington, and in Minneapolis. I'm sure they're starved for people in the north (Duluth), south (Rochester), and middle (St. Cloud). But there are less people to be starved.
Historically, St. Paul has been an area to avoid. With other suburbs, it seems to vary over time but others may have a better idea what areas are hot lately.
Downtown Minneapolis has easy access to the airport and other areas via the light rail. It also is very walkable to eating establishments, entertainment and shopping.
I would definitely stay in the MOA/Bloomington area multiple freeways, easy access for business travelers via MSP, and a lot of transient traffic hobbyist don't stand out as much. Well that's my two cents happy hobbying!
I really appreciate everyone's input on areas...it will be very helpful to me on deciding for a MN trip. I will soon put together travels plans!! Be sure to keep your eyes peeled!! Thanks again!
