I have to tread lightly here;  I know the person involved and want to respect their request for privacy.  But obviously Anon's post has people's undies in a bundle.  Unfortunately, this post may further the bundling.

Last night a touring provider was "rousted" at a suburban hotel--not truly arrested but questioned/fingerprinted/etc. and then released.  Sort of the "driven to the city limits and dropped off" thing of the old days.

I have no details on how she was identified.  Obviously, if the suburb's PD saw her info on the web, they would still have no reason to assume she was staying in their city, and therefore no vested interest in setting up a sting on their own.  Perhaps a tip from the hotel, angry client, or competing provider got the ball rolling.  Presumably any BCA operation would have coordinated this with a raid of the out-of-state agency, which did not happen.  Whatever the cause, it doesn't bode well for other travelers right now.

PS, before the rumors start, I am not AnonyWishes, and it's interesting that it was assumed AW is a guy...
