If you are looking for a place far from the strip, how about Bemidji?  Its well off the strip (about 250 miles).  Also close to me!    Just a joke guys.  But I do wish there was more fun in my area.

Absolutely not!  Every traveler bust I've heard of in the last few years, without exception, has been in Bloomington...  You're tangling with the 6th largest LE organization in the stae, and because of the mall, probably the one organization with the most excess resources available during off-peak shopping seasons.
