It might simply be that there is too much attention at $$$ and that a higher rate might lower the attention to a more manageable level.

Besides, if you do really good at your job, wouldn't you want a raise?

Just a thought.

My point as a client is that we are shooting ourselves in the foot when our enthusiastic recommendations are rewarded by you with price increases.

Many of us feel that $300/hr is a pretty steep rate to begin with and we deserve excellent service for that rate.

Some of us also feel that: If we are going to be punished for publishing good reviews with jacked up rates, then it would be in our best interests to STOP giving enthusiastic reviews or recommendations.

Your post regarding her increase being due to great reviews says it all:

"You idiot clients are giving Jenna straight nines, so we are going to reward you by jacking up her rates!  You morons should start giving her 10's so we can bump her up some more!  Thanks suckers!!!"

Jenna is indeed a lovely girl and you are free to use our nice reviews and comments against us and charge whatever you like.

Some of us just might feel our good graces were taken advantage of and let you know it.

No hard feelings, but the fact is that $300 an hour seems fairly good compensation already.  Of course you are free to disagree.

I personally think WOE is a fantastic agency, but immediate rate increases following client's good reviews have always rubbed me the wrong way.

After having read your post a few times, I feel like I do when I walk into a movie well after it has started, namely that I spend a lot of time trying to figure out what has already happened.  Trying to read between the lines here, it seems like you complained to WOE about them raising Jenna's rates and received some sort of response from them.  I for one would like to see the whole conversation as right now I am a bit confused as to what went on.

I've carefully avoided getting into the price rants here on TER myself, but I wholeheartedly support the idea that people are well within their rights to complain about it.

I'm not sure why sellers charging whatever the market will bear is considered "free market" and guys complaining about those prices is considered "anti free market."

People complaining publicly about price is part of the free market.  The "free market" isn't "free" unless people are "free" to say whatever they want about it.

Hi twistedb, we do apologize and understand your frustration towards a higher rate.  We do know $350 is on the steep side.  We also however know you can basically count on one hand how many eighteen year old providers there are with reviews like Jenna's.  We do have a copy of her license and she is in fact eighteen year of age.  You would never know it with the reviews which she receives.

Our intentions are not to penalize the clients for giving Jenna such wonderful reviews.  Our intentions are to reward the model for placing such a big smile on so many faces.  The reviews which she has received are well deserved, the rate increase due to her age and reviews really should also be well deserved.

We did wait until Jenna had two full pages of reviews before we had raised her rate, she now has three full pages and basically is averaging a solid 9-9.  Again, our only goal with the rate increase was not to penalize the clients but to reward Jenna for being such a young and wonderful provider.

We also wanted to thank you for your extremely kind remarks regarding our service.  It is deeply appreciated.  If you decide you would like to meet with Jenna Twistedb, we will offer you a discounted rate.
