Does the modality affect the price...should it?

After reading the boards I can't help but wonder.  Are men willing to pay more for a what if than a sure thing?  You have a large number of willing ladies in the 150-200 per hour range and yet guys are paying 150 for DIY massage.  Are these guy HOPING they strike it rich and get to go farther than any man has gone before?  I cherish a good massage and love a good fuck there are a few fine ladies trained in massage and willing to go the distance but you will pay a premium of 300 or more per hour.  Do guys set their limit at 150-200 and have to choose?

As many of you know, I like to keep quiet (for the most part) yet I keep close tabs on other local ladies and trends for hightened safety.  

While talking to a good friend in the business the other day, she expressed some interest in adding DIY to her menu since it seemed to be a hot trend.  This confused me at first and then I realized she might be onto something.  

Being the good friend that I am, I told her I'd post something to see what the consensus of the masses might be.  So, if you were a DIY Guy, would you go and see a provider for DIY who normally offers more?  Would it need to be less than her 'usual' basic service since there is less 'service' being offered or should it still be the same if she were to still allow mutual touching of her?  

Again, this is not something I'm planning on integrating to my services but I thought it might be a fun topic for some.  Excuse me if there is another thread out there I did not see when I did a search first :-)

I would not be interested and have been very surprised at some of the high ratings for DIY service.  It must appeal to some.  I was only offered DIY a few years back and opted not to and never returned.

Its because they think its less illegal than HJ when in fact its not.
That's the reason .
My opinion is no. I really don't get the high ratings either.

I know most of the posts on the board concerning DIY are from hobbyists who do not partake.  I also know from some back channel talk that there are some who do enjoy it for whatever reason.  If a provider is looking to expand her client base, why not at least offer it as an option on the menu?  I guess I don't see what it could hurt.

That's what I recommended.  I told her to add it and keep her other services and it may just draw a new group of gents to her studio.  What could it hurt, is right :)

My take is that the guys that "enjoy" the DIY keep going and keep throwing their money at the DIY massage girls thinking the menu will open up.  At least that is what my little head says.  

No I would not partake in diy with a real provider.

BUT you know what they say, if the market is there someone will cash in on it.

Consider an FS provider that does 30 minutes for $150 or 60 for $250 though, it's a lot less overhead and no need for oils, table, studio, etc.

I should have mentioned this is a CMT friend of mine who was thinking of adding it to her menu in addition to her regular offering of 'all the usual suspects' for a massage gal.  

Her contention was mostly that she didn't want folks thinking she was giving those other items up so I just told her to be clear about it that Option A was DIY, Option B was "Let me use my hands" and Option C was "Let me go hands-free", ect.  

All I know is I'm perfectly happy with my 3 little session styles and really don't think DIY would be much entertainment for me :P

I tend to discount the conspiracy theories. The best HE massage providers are pulling $$. That's triple the CMT rate. If DIY finds a market in between, what of it? Frankly I don't see what the big deal is with a HJ. Do the sensual massage and send the guy home with a big smile already!! Ain't no thang....

I am ok with DIY, but I would not actively seek it out.  Having said that, a couple months ago I ended up doing DIY with my favorite massage provider to change things up a little bit (she likes to try something different every time I see her...this keeps me coming back).  It was a nice change of pace, mostly because it was DIY for only the last minute or so -- the rest was hands on.

If health risk ever became an issue to the point I had to do it myself, for a $ 400 PC and $ 40 / month High Speed Internet connection I could find enough free resources to assist me. The $$$ saved would be better spent on other wants.

I will never understand why it's (supposedly) a trend except for the false security in the legalities surrounding it.  

Said-Massage Gal (who was contemplating this) is enjoying the posts and has now decided it's not worth her time to even add it..."Looks like DIY will go out of style with leg warmers come Spring.".  LOL. Touche.

There is already some confusion about girls that advertise massage and FS. Adding DIY will make matters even more confusing.

As a rule of thumb, I assume that there is no FS with massage girls. This saves on confusion. I know some guys love trying to get FS, but most massage girls like to avoid FS, or at least keep it quite of they do it for a few close friends.

what really sucks is you can give a 7 on a diy review by guidlines and its placed in the escort section , but a massage and a cbj can also only get a 7 , i dont think this is right
