Everyone must be doin their chores getting ready for winter!  I for one, would like to get out a few more times before the snow comes and it gets more difficult to get around.  It is kind of a quiet hump day.

So it's dead here? Well here is a story to lighten the day. So I am driving down the 35W, see a state trooper parked at a truck stop. No problemo, keep going, why this 95 mph is just not efficient is it? Let's move that needle to 110. Wait, 110? Screw that crap, try 120. So as I am happily coasting along I see a car up ahead, slow down just a little as I pass......THE STATE TROOPER.

The moral of this story children is to either have your passenger use binoculars at night to insure the car you pass is not a state trooper, or take the one car that can actually go faster than them...get some distance, then park and get out of the car quick so they DON'T know who to ticket. Yes that does work.

Or I could just drive the posted speed limit.

First question the trooper asked me was whether the radar detector was mine or my passengers. Next was a statement "your radar detector doesn't work", and it didn't until it was way too late.

And BTW mark.4444 this wasn't midtown rush hour traffic, but late well past the cities. Besides, ever driven the Autobahn? Speed is not the issue, it is the car you drive and the driver behind the wheel. Don't worry dude, my record is clean as a whistle when it comes to accidents :).

That puts the whole "live and let live" concept at risk. If true, the moral of the story is don't put my life at risk ... various expletives left unexplored.

I've done nearly 130 (damn speed limiter kicked in) but never in traffic. Who does that??

Some people figure out how to piss all over almost anything posted here.

I am amazed that someone could honestly be pissed about speeding on a board that is devoted to illegal activity. Last I checked, a speeding ticket was way less trouble than a prostitution bust.
