Puck..just wanted to say good job on taking the high road on the thread below..Very professional done and handled great. I know you could have taken a much different road if you wanted.

I am the moderator of a Yahoo group on a totally different topic.  Periodically, a member will post criticism of my "moderating" skills.  I respond by offering to let them be the moderator, and then they disappear from the group, and never come back.  Sort of Stalinist technique.

is that when some providers (Not all, certainly not the majority) are looking for an answer to an honest question, they put on the persona of a petulant self centered child. Instead of asking politely for assistance, they bemoan how they are being mistreated and abused by the boards. While, sometimes they are, the thread in question was hardly the case.

In this situation, while trying to resolve a link to an ad issue with regards to posted TER guidelines they pretty much got more bad advertising on this board than 10 well written Backpage ads. Why some people feel they can exude a bad demeanor and expect to get business (Specifically my business, as a consumer of their products) is beyond me.

Needless to say, if a couple of those providers had been on my "To See" list, I can assure them, that they are now on my "Do Not See" list. I care not how nice/hot/well reviewed a person they may be, after what I saw displayed in that thread there are now a couple of providers that will never get my business. My praise to those who chose the high road on that thread, especially Puck and Belinda.
