In response to the post on girls from Abigails having their reviews disappear into thin air thought i'd mention the disappearance of one of my reviews on Nina from the 507 area code. It was posted for only a cuple of days and is now gone when one searches under 507 area code. Anyone have any ideas??

To expound on what MDL just said, it's important to point out that review management and discussion management are separate and totally unrelated.  The TER staff manages the review process entirely.  The day-to-day moderation of the regional boards is delegated out to local volunteers (SRVFAN in our case) who have no other relationship with TER than being volunteers.

I am not sure if this is related or not, but I have often wondered why a provider shows up as having a new review, but when you click on the link to the reviews, there is nothing new.

Just me?

Not to get too geeky, but I suspect this is a technical issue that has to do with the database.  I'm assuming the program logic that displays the "new" flag on a profile looks at the database, and if the provider's profile has been changed within the past X hours or days, the new flag is diplayed.  That means if a correction, a change in URL, phone number, etc. is made, the profile would be marked as "new" even though there's no new reviews.

Also, if they have more than one page of reviews, check the earlier pages.  Sometimes a year gets entered wrong and a Feb '04 review gets entered as Feb '03, for instance.  The provider will show up under new reviews, but since the reviews are in date order, the new review is actually a page or two back in her reviews.

There's naked women out there waiting for my call, and I'm sitting here talking about databases.  How lame is that.
