I’m new to this exciting hobby and I’m hoping to get some advice on how to meet with the many special women that visit this site that require references. If a person is new and without references would subscribing to a verification service like Proffered 411 or Roomservice2000 be sufficient? Thank you!

I suggest you contact some you are interested in seeing and find out what they consider acceptable.

They are both good verification services, but I prefer Preferred411.

Vorlon's right, we all have different ways of verifying a new hobbyist that doesn't have references.  So follow his advice and you'll be on your way.

Most providers in the twin cities don't require references.  You can visit many providers who get TER reviews with 8's or 9's without references or membership in any of the verification services.  Why not just do a TER scearch of the reviews, for your likes and wants, pick out a few providers and visit their ads/websites to see if they require any verification?
And, many of the women who don't require references will actually give you a reference if you want to see someone else in the future. Good Luck with your new hobby.
