Depends on the time available

It varies for me.  Sometimes I am a bit crunched for time and have had to cancel due to the delay.  Most of the better providers are pretty good about notice I think--if I am not doing anything else and they contact me about the delay I am just fine with waiting.  Seems to always be worth the wait!  If it pushes really late and they don't contact me and I can't contact them--I have been known to run with plan B.  These are usually new providers for me and with them it is not uncommon.   Sometimes they are established with reviews sometimes not--but in those cases I usually try to plan for a no-show.

Mind you, I said REPUTABLE! ALL CAPS! LOL!

Meeeeow!

.....sometimes "shit" happens.  I had this happen recently and I got a call and was just fine waiting (she was worth the wait).  Bottom line, courtesy in a call or text is all I ask.  If my own time is short, sometimes we may have to rescheule, but again, courtesy and good will from both stops a situation from turning into a trainwreck, imho!

I give the benefit of the doubt and usually it's fine.  Sometimes, the lady has made up for it in extended time or a discount next time.

I would even be slow to slap up a post on NCNS until/unless I'd heard from her and tried to work through the issues ourselves, without starting a big public throwdown.  I've been tempted a couple of times, but glad I didn't, as the issues turned out to be legitimate.

Not judging others.  It's just me.

I hope a simple text or phone call/email...she would provide them prior.
Some people are just known for running late...it's life...I was always taught be on time and treat others how you would like to be treated!

Hope this helps!

Like OG said, I tend to wait and see, then work things out. I've been offered freebees at least 3 times that I can remember, but never accepted them because shit happens.

When one lady asked me once why I considered her an ATF, I replied that she could book with me 3 weeks in advance, always kept the appointment and NEVER disappointed. It helped that she's just plain awesome and one of the sexiest gals I've ever known. Obviously being reputable, reliable and respectful goes a LONG way in this business, and life in general.

The one and only NCNS post I've ever made was due to blatant disrespect on the part of the gal. Come to think of it, I've only ever been NCNS'ed once in 5+ years. They always call or email as soon as they can. I mean, who wouldn't?

So, if a reputable gal is respectful in that situation, my response is casual and completely understanding. In each case that I've had a gal run late on me, I've eventually connected with them, either later or another day, and it's all good.

We all have "shit happen" eventually. It's what you do next that makes all the difference.

I know unexpected things can happen; just don't leave me hanging.

As long as a provider makes up for lost time on the other end, it is not a big deal. It is a problem if a provider tries to cut the time I pay for short.

Up to 30 minutes late is fine. When a provider starts getting close to an hour late or more is when I start getting irritated and tired and probably in my best interest to cancel an appointment.

Another issue is the free time I have. If I have a flight to catch and need to get to the airport or am trying to fit an hour appointment in a two hour window of free time that I have, then issues can arise if a provider is running late.

If time is a potential problem, I do let a provider know upfront prior to scheduling that it is essential she be on time. If not, I let her know it is best we wait for a more convenient time to schedule.

communication is the key.  As long as we notify each other of a schedule
problem as soon as it comes up, then I'm pretty much ok with it.  And
the 30 minute delay is usually something I can work with, but beyond that, I
agree that a new day and time may be in order.

...I've been extremely fortunate if she is running a little bit late.  If you are understanding and nice about it, you tend to be paid back in spades.  Reputable providers never let you leave feeling like you have anything to complain about.  Relax and go with it...
