If we are talking about an actual pimp then that person is usually taking advantage of and quite possibly abusing the provider in one way or another.  But some providers do like having someone who handles the logistical side of the business for them.

I'm curious....  a while back there was some talk and references made to a provider having a "manager".  Now, we all know what the media portrays this person as, and their role within the industry. Im sure its true to an extent, maybe a little, maybe a lot. But aside from all that, whats the point? Seems pointless to me.  Oh well, maybe thats because I'm a "good guy" and not out to stir up any trouble when I meet with a provider.

a "Manager" is generally a pimp and the ladies works for him OR ELSE!  They give
all of their money to the pimp and he controls her....owns her.   Many of the gals under
the control of a pimp are young, underage in many cases.

An Assistant works for the provider and is there to help her with answering emails,
scheduling, and screening.   Unlike pimps, assistants are paid a small portion of a  
providers total earnings and is agreed upon by both parties
