Just curious.

We hobbyists use reviews to help us in deciding on a lady, and also to know what to expect in a session with a new lady.

So, I was wondering if you ladies use the reviews we write to find anything out about us before you meet us...or do you rely on other means (e.g., references, etc.)?

And to create unique experience for each gentleman based on what his preferences are.

I always read reviews of a future date. It helps me know what the likes and dislikes are. It also allows me to read between the lines.  Not everything is in a review, but it opens up the ability to know what to test, explore, or what buttons to give a little push. :)

I celebrated my fifth year in the hobby yesterday.

During those five years, I have never made the decision to meet a provider based upon the reviews of her by other hobbyists.

Admittedly, reviews may contain quite a bit of valuable information that can allow a hobbyist to prepare himself for a session.

A couple of issues that I always encounter with reviews include:

(1) Reviews frequently fail to mention the number of times that a hobbyist has seen a provider. For example, I have found a large difference between first and second meetings with a provider. If a hobbyist depends upon reviews to meet a new provider, do her reviews reflect the initial (or virgin) encounter between that hobbyist and provider, or do they reflect the chemistry developed after more than one meeting?

(2) Reviews frequently fail to mention wonderful details about a provider. I met a provider yesterday (in Omaha) with 77 reviews on The Erotic Review. None of her reviews mention her incredibly feminine hands. I would enjoy seeing this provider in the future simply to feel her hands and their delicate fingers. Although the appearance of hands and fingers are not included in a Provider's Profile, their function provides a large portion of the interaction between a hobbyists and a provider. What other incredible aspects of the experience are glossed-over by reviews?

In any event, the provider I met yesterday uses a hobbyists' reviews to tailor sessions for clients. For my session, I believe she may have communicated with another provider to tailor my session due to the fact that I don't have a body of written reviews.

Of interest, although the provider I met yesterday has a set of incredible reviews, she told me that she (literally) hates them (reviews).

Your reviews tell me a lot about you & help me decide whether or not we are going to be compatible. I'm not interested in performing so having common interests are essential.

I do it to see if we'd be a good fit according to what keeps popping up the most in his reviews.

I had a date that I emailed back and told him I didn't think we'd be compatible.  He asked why, and I told him because most of his reviews mentioned the provider was thin or muscular; the way he liked them, and I didn't fit that category.

He thanked me for my honesty, but I am totally honest and say I'm full figured on my profile.  I wanted to make sure he knew that so we could both have a great time.

I also pick up clues of things that a gent might hint toward that I could either talk to him about exploring, or surprise him with.

Just my 2¢.
Hugs,
JD

....I usually only will if it's a gent that has shown interest in me or I know i'll be seeing. I'll ask him personally anyways what things he likes (or doesn't) but I still look @ his reviews for what really tickles his fancy still.

Hide the likker!

Hide the wimmen an chilluns!

The apocalypse is nigh!

Though actually, the thought of you and Poppy sitting around a table discussing the hidden levels of meaning in one of my reviews is kind of intriguing. She could dissect your review and you could dissect hers and then both of you could put what you learned to most excellent good use. And then I could grade you on your insights. Hmmmmm. 'Course, there'd also be a 500 word essay requirement.

LMAO!  I could do an A+ 500 word essay in my sleep with an arm tied behind my back!!!  Now, if you really want a test, tie both arms behind my back and let me use my mouth... tongue, lips, teeth :P

Agreed -- if you are about to meet someone for the first time and you read a past review of his and find that he's interested in things you can't provide, it's important to let him know that you two won't fit well together. Plus, it's always fun to see what gets him excited so you can repeat them or find new things to explore with him along a similar vein ; - ).
