You'll need to form an opinion about the likelihood that she has been "turned".   I know of only one instance where this happened.  There is little incentive for LE to use one gal for this purpose because (i) it is too expensive to commit police resources and (ii) they would be taking on substantial liability from having a civilian involved in a police action.  Giving out names or client lists is of very little value to law enforcement, but could prove embarrassing if provided to the media.
