Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
A really funny thought ran through my twisted brain.  I get thoughts like this one when I see something on the board that is pleading for a solution.  I noticed that it took the courage of one provider to step up to the plate and post her personal experience with a gentleman to get the rest of us thinking that just maybe he is not being treated fairly.  If that is the case, I would challenge other providers to follow suit in sharing the gist of their experiences too.    

Now here is the funny thought that bombarded my brain:  What if, just "WHAT IF", you know; "What's good for the goose is good for the gander".  What "IF" our providers, who are being evaluated in graphic detail, would start to write reviews on us Gentlemen after seeing us?  It probably won't happen in our lifetimes, but if it did it would make the sexual revolution of Woodstock look like a Sunday School Picnic.

Visualize with me on two extremes:

Post #1:  I saw (gentleman's handle) last night. He was really wonderful to me.  He was gentle, asked my permission for anything he wanted to do and respected my feelings to the tee.  He was thoughtful and brought me to a huge "O" 4 times in the hour we were together.  He is fluent in all the languages of passion and is as thick as a tree trunk and at least 8" long freshly shaved including the walnuts as well.  He was a "once in a lifetime experience"!  If he contacts you drop everything and make yourself available.  Don't miss one.  Maybe even adjust your fee down a bit just to make sure you get to sample the candy of one of the greatest gentlemen out there.  He is at the top of my ATF list.

Post #2:  I saw (gentleman's handle) last night and it was hardly worth the effort.  He was rude, disrespectful, rough, and had, I mean SERIOUS, BO problems.  Besides that, I don't think he had brushed his teeth in 6 months.  He did not listen to me when I politely asked him to back off a little.  He treated me like I was a blow-up doll for whom he did not give a rat's ass.  Of course YMMV, but IMHO nobody should have to be subjected to this bum. You draw your own conclusion.

So, what's the point of this post?  It has taken some serious inner evaluation for me to see how I could improve in the exercise of this fun biz.  The thought ocurred to me that the providers generally try to earn a good review so that other gentlemen will want to see them.  They do that by treating us as well as they can within the scope of what is on their menu.  If it was remotely likely that we gentlemen could also be "reviewed" maybe it would cause us to be more mindful of the Golden Rule, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you".  

I live in a number of social circles.  In this "community" I have found more kindness, as a general rule, than in some of the other areas of my life.  Maybe it means more to us here that we be liked and welcomed so that we can freely enjoy the "biz" and not be rejected.  In this "community" we all stand to profit, either financiall or in the fulfillment of our special sexual desires.  A little profit motivated civility can go a long way.

So,what do you think?  Ladies, your input would also be fun to receive.  How realistic is it?  I know you ladies have your own private board where you talk, but gentlemen are influenced by what they read about themselves.  Just how wet am I on this?

Thanks jcinbp for your important thoughts.  It is true that we pay them and so a really good provider sees her job as one in which her goal is to "make me a happy guy".  In fact, if we were not paying for their services in this fun hobby we would never "kiss and tell" about our dates with them.  However, I think I may have failed to get my point across.  My point is that if we gentlemen know that our behavior may be reviewed for others to see (protecting annonymity of course) we may be more likely to want to make this hobby a little more fun for all of us, men and women alike.  The matter of payment is as old as the world is.  Men have been given more opportunity to earn an income beyond what women have been given, although slowly that is changing for women.  Historically, women have been given what we men can't seem to get enough of.  It seems pretty even to me.

This is an old argument that I have seen many times on these boards. I just did a quick search, but was unable to find one of the previous arguments. As I recall, they do not usually last very long, but I don't seem to recall what the killer counterpoint is.

Being able to rate or review your manager at work would sure be nice too and it would eliminate certain abuses and liberties that they may take but it's never going to happen.  Your boss reviews you because they are paying your salary and that is exactly what we are doing for the provider.  If they do not want to work for us anymore they do not have to.

Your idea does have some merit in theory though, but if providers were to anonomously rate guys (I would assume using TER screen names), how would the ladies review guys who did not post? Additionally, I believe a few providers recently posted that it is not the best idea for hobbyists to share their screen names with providers and I couldn't agree more.

One last thought...  If a hobbyist who was a perfect gentleman gives a mediocre but fair review (a simple case of YMMV) there would be some providers out there who would rip the hobbyist in her account. This would potentially eliminate future dates for that hobbyist with other providers just because the two of them did not click. I know most providers would not do this but I can think of a few off hand that would.

lots of knowledge [mini reviews] goes on through the back channels, and rightly so. Just as we garner information, the provider's should also. So fellas, always put your best foot forward, errr, just give the provider your best because she deserves it, and you may be reviewed?

On the other board and in back channel boards.  IMO, it's a good resource for ladies to have access to databases like this, especially to know who the bad apples are.

Just to inform the providers.  There a company that is coming that will be TCR for the provider only. It will be able to tell the provider what to expect ahead of time.  So the provider will no whether not she can provide a GFE experience.  As you all know it hard to open the door to a stranger and not know what to expect.  This company is going to be there just to give you a heads up.  I am waiting on more information from them.  They had e-mailed last month stating they will be in biz starting September.

I can see the general trend of the responses to my twisted brain thoughts.  Two things stand out: 1)The gentlement seem to feel that paying money gives us the right to graphic reviews of the provider.  I guess that can be good or bad for the provider but I'm guessing that they don't generally get too bent out of shape over it.  2) The providers assure us that they have  plenty of back channel resources to screen the gentlemen so as to alert other providers of unsavoury situations.

My objective was to bring to mind that how we treat providers is important and that they are more than a piece of meat from McDonald's or Burger King.  Perhaps my mission is accomplished.
