Hi all. Been reading this board for months and trying to decide if I want to start the hobby. What is the best way to test the waters? Seems that reputable providers want references? how do you break in the first time?
seeing well reviewed BP providers that didn't require screening as long as you follow the rules. You've read up on the rules right? You just have to find the ones that will provide a reference even though they didn't ask for one. Once I had a few references I joined P411 and so far after a year and half in the hobby I haven't had to give out any real personal info. TER white listings are helpful as well. but this method may not be the best choice for everyone.
The way that I broke into the hobby was by seeing a "newbie" friendly provider for my first adventure. A "newbie" friendly provider will use other means (i.e., employment information) to screen you rather than rely on provider references.
At the same time, I also registered for credentials with RoomService2000. RoomService2000 is a necessity for visiting with Chicago area providers. Several Minneapolis providers visit the Chicago area for business. Thus, they will also accept RoomService2000 to verify clients.
Good Luck! The first provider that I attempted to visit needed another provider reference. Thus, I was out of luck with her at that time (and very frustrated). I know exactly how you feel about this situation.
I will supply you the links for three different Minneapolis area providers that may be open to meeting a hobbyist without references.
Note: I got my start in the hobby back in 2007. My first provider is long-gone from the scene. Thus, I cannot supply her information.
The first advertising venue that I utilized to view provider advertisements was on the "Eros" guide. I quickly scanned that site for the following recommendations.
First: Maya (http://www.lovelymaya.com/). The information on her 'Contact' page appears to allow the use of personal and work information for screening purposes.
Second: Simone (http://www.eros-minn.com/files/306301.htm). Simone is a new provider looking for reviews. I have exchanged e-mail messages with her about her screening practices. It appears that she will use employment information.
If I had to advocate an introductory method, -- and if I could do my first meeting with a provider over again -- I would encourage you to take advantage of a "meet and greet" type of appointment. Good Luck!
Just some tips for newbies that I've picked up through experience and listening to other people:
So just some suggestions that might help learn the lay of the land: 1. Check out the newbie board; lots of good info there 2. Get the VIP membership so you can see the review details and have access to the PM system 3. Spend some time learning how to use the search functions for both reviews and the discussion board so you can identify ladies you would be interested in seeing based on the criteria that matter most to you (ex: looks, menu, rates, etc.) 4. Figure out what kind of verification the ladies you would like to see require and how you can meet those requirements. Some ladies are very particular. Others are more flexible. It's OK to contact them about it if you are not sure; just remember to be discreet. Any explicit questions will likely get you disconnect or otherwise ignored. 5. Some ladies advertise here or on other sites that they are newbie friendly; keep an eye out for that. 6. Consider joining a site such as P411 that pre-screens potential clients. Some escorts will accept membership in such sites as satisfactory verification. 7. If you are still puzzled by something after having done research, please feel free to ask questions. I think for the most part we are willing to help out so long as we think you are not just freeloading on what others have learned. 8. Develop a bit of a thick skin; some people are going to be jerks regardless. 9. If an ad or offer looks TGTBT, it's probably TGTBT. 10. If you find yourself in any situation that doesn't feel quite right, trust your instincts and walk away. 11. As a newcomer, stick with well-reviewed ladies. It's harder when you are inexperienced to figure out who the legit providers are from the fakes and scammers when they don't have reviews. 12. Google is very useful. Searching on a phone number or other info from an ad in Google can sometimes save you a lot of grief. 13. To help uncover ads that are using someone else pics Google Image Search and Tineye are useful tools. Much better to find out ahead of time that the girl you are thinking of calling is using the pics from some porn star or model or that the pics have been used in ads from one side of the country to the other.
I've been in the hobby for about six years now. I've probably seen close to a hundred ladies in that time, some more than once.I had a regular lady for about three years, still saw others, but she retired and moved to Iowa.I tried three different times to write a review about four years ago,but for one lame reason or another, they were refused. If the lady needs references,I look elsewhere.I will give them my ter handle and if they accept that, fine I have met all my ladies on backpage and back when you could find them on craigslist, and I've never had a close call with LE or pimps.I look for reviews and the checklist of things I'm looking for and go from there.Good luck, relax, and enjoy!
