I know this subject has probably been beaten to death but here goes.

I understand everyone's need for discretion and privacy and I do and will accept references and happily give them out  References are great BUT please understand that it doesn't always work.  The ladies you are giving references to have NO control over the references they receive or if they even get a response (not all ladies give them).  If a tentative apt is set and the references don't check out most ladies will not honor the apt  If the lady or agency doesn't remember you please don't get angry with the provider you are attempting to set the apt with....it's out of her control.

There is a great service called date check.  You can keep your privacy and the lady can see your references all in one screen.  If you receive an invite from a provider that you have already seen, you get automatically verified...Presto...no waiting for references to respond. You are given an ID number that you give to the provider...that simple. No personal info unless you choose to give it out.  Many top providers around the country are listed on this site and you can see their schedules (not to mention the profiles are linked to TER reviews
