So I'm addicted to Diet Coke, Tivo and Facebook. I'm trying to cut back on the Diet Coke, but it isn't easy.

Wouldn't a TER Facebook be cool? My wall could say: "I'm getting a BBBJ right now!"

So other than sex, what are you addicted to?

Formerly addicted to Cheetos and Diet Dr. Pepper....clean for about a month a half - 2 months now.  Dropped 31 lbs so far!!  wahooo!!!

I think about it and I want it.  And then it becomes extremely difficult to talk myself out of it.  As a person who has had some REAL addiction problems I see clearly how it isn't about just booze and drugs...Food, caffine, sex, golf.  The trick is getting to a point of saying "I don't want to" rather than "I shouldn't do that".  Because if I said I shouldn't drink anymore....I'd still be drinking.

I don't think I will ever get to the "I don't want to"  on the DATY, haha , or the love of ethnic foods and trying them.  I, like you can be addictive personality prone, but hey, the OP asked about Harmless addictions on this thread and I am glad that DATY is not against the law or is it? haha, well, I know they have yet to develop a breathalyzer test for it or if I go through a stop sign after-wards, well it wasn't because of that, its just me being careless. xxxoo J.

I know you said other than sex but I'd say Maya the playful blonde(see string below)is my addiction. Maya's been my ATF for the last several months and while my balance sheet may not indicate she's completely harmless, I always leave with a smile! So it can't be bad right. And she's very, very addictive. To the extent I'm able, I make time for Maya.
