Just found out I’ll be doing a short stint (2 weeks in May) at the Chicken Ranch in Nevada! It’ll be my first time at a brothel and I’m super excited!

Has anyone here had experience with working in or patronizing a Nevada brothel? I got some info on the phone but I still feel like I’m walking in a bit blind.

Thanks!

Should be interesting to see how things differ from your current business model.

Some years ago I went to the Chicken Ranch.  The women were beautiful, but I was a bit turned off by the hustle factor.  Also the women are not allowed to leave without an escort from the brothel.  Almost like a self imposed jail sentience.   The brothel takes half of whatever the girls charge the customer, and charge them room and board.
I would rather hire an escort before returning to a Nevada Brothel.

My parents stayed at a hotel in southern Nevada last summer on a trip to CA and TX and the hotel just happened to be right by a brothel. I checked out the website and was not to impressed. Pictures of some of the ladies which were 6s or 7s at best. They looked like more full on prostitutes (from vegas) than actual providers. And then the prices were pretty cheap - as in not your high end girls cheap.

I worked at the Kit Kat Ranch (owned by Dennis Hoff, also owner of the Bunny Ranch).  They have the best reputation to work for, but still take 50% and you have to pay room and board, except if you make a certain amount per day.  We had to work 12 hour shifts, but we could go sit by the pool or take a nap or read in our room if no one was there. The food was AMAZING and met some amazing people there.  Most of what you are doing there is walk in clientele, and I do prefer having a schedule and my regulars.  We could leave on our days off or if it was slow, no escort needed.  I did not really like the "hustle" aspect as well, and it can get a bit catty.  I am now in a small town in the middle of WI, so yes, you live by me, I am about it!!  LOL. Thankfully I have a great group of regulars.  It was nice to travel out west and experience the brothels, but not sure if I would go back.  Happy being my own boss and making my own schedule.   :)

Yes, the pimp houses of Nevada.  Women are like used cars where you negotiate for the highest price you can get from a customer. What we need is women in charge of their own business with decriminalization, not legalization where the house or owner is the pimp.

I met Dennis Hoff and had good discussions when he testified in Phoenix in the Phoenix Goddess Temple case for the defense.  Leaving a donation afterward was no way to run any prostitution operations etc., he testified.

He is very friendly and tried to be very helpful for the 38 gals indicted for association with a criminal enterprise but sadly the case was lost after a 5-month trial.   He also grew up in Phoenix area - Mesa.

On the negative side, he is quite a hustle and wanted to save Phoenix during the Superbowl by saying we were one of the largest cities for child sex trafficking, for which there is no basis, just lots of stings of "pretend adult victims".  The proposal to the City was to open a legal brothel so he could offer an alternative to all the children coming to Phoenix to be prostitutes during the Superbowl.

All the child and trafficking hype ahead of the Superbowl promoted all over and of course, there was no basis whatsoever for the concerns and Hoff's proposal was taken as a joke.

For what it's worth, I visited the Bunny Ranch and a number of other Nev brothels many years ago.  Except for the onset of the Internet, I suspect things have not changed much.  Observations:

1.    The premises of the brothels I visited were pretty drab on the outside, but "okay" on the inside.  The Bunny Ranch was like a large motel, with a large lobby area where the girls would line up when a customer came in; the idea was to get the customer to the room asap.  Customers could then hang out in the bar or waiting area and make a new date, or have a few drinks and then leave.  Most places I visited had a bar; the common areas ranged from huge (Bunny Ranch) to a living room (with bar) in a mobile home.
2.    The rooms were pretty small and pretty plain.  Each escort had her own room where she both lived and worked.
3.    FWIW, the escorts were not as smart, independent or as interesting as independent escorts.  An independent has to run her own business and run her own life, which requires all kinds of skills and wits that are not called for in working at a brothel.
4.    The action in the room was, on the whole, more mechanical than with independents.  Typically there was a "menu," and the customer got exactly what he paid for.  No spontaneity.  The focus in brothels is on turnover and volume, not on establishing a connection or even a recurring set of visits.
5.     The amenities -- bar, food, hot tubs, slots, etc -- were better than typically available with an independent.  But you can get almost all of that by checking into a good hotel, if a hot tub is what you want.
6.     The brothels tend to be isolated; some were miles and miles away from a town or city.  On my very last visit, my chosen escort talked wistfully about how she'd love to have a dinner date and drive 20 miles to the nearest town for a steak dinner.

Let us know how it works out of you!

to learning more about your experiences and opinions of your chosen Brothel!

As Providers, we are an incredibly diverse group of ladies with one commonality—a genuine passion for intimacy. I'm curious if this attitude carries over into the Brothel atmosphere and bond you may or may not form with the other ladies during your stay.

If you want to talk and/or need to vent - please feel free to reach out!

Best wishes, safe travels and have a lot of fun!!!

Much Love,
Whitney Cohen

... and enjoyed myself. One time I met a young woman who was a porn starlet, I found out after speaking with her, and her scenes are easily found on some XXX sites. I chose a woman on the Chicken Ranch website and made an appointment over a phone call with the madame. The line up selection method isn't something that appeals to me. I was shocked at the starting price when we started negotiations in her room but we settled on something more reasonable. GFE is not on the menu at Nevada brothels. Afterward, she took me to the bar for a drink and I bought an official Chicken Ranch T shirt and koozie. It felt really good to experience having a perfectly legal pay for play date. I'd do it again.

I know it’s a different atmosphere in a brothel but that’s kind of exciting too - it’s something new! Too often in sex work I can start to feel stagnant and this opportunity is like getting to see the sex world through a different set of eyes. And I enjoy gfe so I’m hoping that I can carry that into the brothel.

Sooooo excited

... all activity must be covered. No BBBJ, no DATY without a dental dam, no uncovered FIV, one shot only and I believe kissing with tongue is forbidden. Without those services, GFE can't be be offered. It's still a lot of fun to spend time naked with a lovely woman with a friendly, cool personality. And, every guy receives a thorough and clinical dick check at the beginning of the session to look for signs of STIs at no extra charge!

I did not know this! It’s all part of the learning curve. Well, if I can’t be gfe with my body I can try my best with my spirit lol

Hi!!!! I have worked at a legal brothel in NV. It really depends on the laws of the NV county that you are in.  (I worked near Reno)  No BBBJ is correct, but we could do DATY without a dental dam, up to the girl.  FIV is up to the girl, I was OK with this but always had the guy wash his hands first.  Shot count is up to the girl as well.  Kissing with tongue, again, up to the girl.  Yes, we did have to do a Dick check,  but if the girl does them right it is not that overly technical.  So from working at a legal brothel to being an independent now the only difference is the BBBJ for me.  The county that I worked in was thankfully pretty lax compared to others.  I could also travel all over the state of NV with a client whereas some counties the girls could not even leave the brothel.

One thing you will want to remember is that you will have a lot of competition, so you really want to find something that makes you different and stand apart from the other girls.  I often worked with the other gals at the brothel on their branding.  My "brand" was being the house dominatrix.  Even if gentlemen did not come in to have a dominatrix session with me,  I was requested at times because they knew me by my marketing.  Your brand can really be anything.  Being younger, older,  blonde, big tits, big bootie, lots of tats, etc.  Focus on what makes you different so you can stand out and be chosen.
