For the exemplary manner you handled a truly life altering situation. The fact that under considerable duress you still managed to protect your customers personal info speaks volumes about the business and service.

Bravo for not immediately caving and realizing you do have the absolute right to remain silent while you request a lawyer.

I hope and pray that this county prosecutor realizes how much of a farce this entire affair was and that there are far better targets for her office than a well run business where consenting adults go to meet other consenting adults.

You are right, it is bottom line a issue of freedom of speech and the freedom to assemble without government intervention.

I truly appreciate the heart it took to stand firm in the face of threats and bluster from LE and hold fast to your convictions.

Hopefully this time the good guys will come out on top, even if they were sold out by the Nice Guys.

and I do hope the truth will come out sooner than later so those who have been wrongly accused will have their names cleared...and  that the harmful lies, rumors and gossip will stop.

I really find it hard to believe that Sgt Torius and his brave Officers of his Heroic task force would be deceptive to the public and the news media. Ecspecially when they made a brave  decision last year to either invest their time  a year to go after non violent offenders or to go after drug dealers and gang members with automatic weapons killing innocent children in N Mpls with stray bullets. I mean come on guys, If I had  to decide on either getting $18,0000, 14 cars, Cheat on my wife( in the line of duty), or decide on getting shot at by gang members and drug dealers, I mean come on it's kind of scary on the North Side, besides all the flowers, Teddy bears and Baby baloons up and down Penn Ave and Broadway looks really nice.

No matter what the Blue Guys got a lot of publicity, and I'm sure you will never see anything more in the press in they don't charge anyone.  They also succeeded in shutting down the site.  Even if no crime was committed or charges filed, the MFP site is gone.

But a very old bird I've known for quite awhile who hasn't lied to me yet told me they did send a what looked like a prying for info "meet with us or else" type of email which in turn was ignored>deleted &
has forced them into hiding for the time being.
Not sure if it was totally real or not.
but I do know they did NOT get their email address from MFP's imaginary database like they've claiming.

You mean I been leaving the porch light on for nuthing this past month?   No one is coming to visit?  I feel so used.

I'm sending a little something for her legal bills and I hope she'll let us know if she needs any financial help. Her moments of silence saved many of us thousands of dollars (and tens of thousands collectively.)
