Gents,

After getting my second Covid vaccine shot, I am thinking about getting back into the hobby.  I figured that I would sign up for VIP to read some reviews.  My question is that I am planning on using a visa gift card that I can purchase at Target, Walgreens, or Walmart where I pay $29 cash for a $25 card.  Have any of you done this?  Do any of these cards restrict using them on an Adult site like TER.  Or, do you have a better way to discretely get VIP?   Thank you

Pretty sure when I signed up last year, I bought a $50 Home Depot gift card at Target and that got me a few months worth of VIP membership to get rolling.  Not sure about Visa cards, or if they still accept plain ol’ gift cards, but hope that helps.

I would love to know this as well. The only thing I can make work is exchanging target gift cards for vip. I don’t want to use a personal credit card.

I have heard of people having issues with VISA gift cards so using the store gift cards seems like an easier option to me.

If there's a single person out there or anyone who doesn't care about paper trails, I'd definitely pay an extra 10-20% on top of membership cost for many sites that don't allow gift cards.  Simple idea, entrepreneur pays for a membership and sells/leases the user name and password to the customer.  When the time has expired, the customer simply venmo's (or other means) payment to the facilitator to renew.  Simple private person to person payment that could easily be explained if needed.  Thoughts??

If so, TER would definitely frown on that.

If not, please clarify.

Your reply will come after a few decoder rings are sold.

In the mean time enjoy the music while on hold. The next available operator will be with you shortly.

Do you really think the fucktard cares about some policy?  We’re talking money. Probably testing waters to see how many fish bite.

If the facilitator creates and has your password and username . They own your ass.   Who retains control and access to , and of that info???

How the fuck if they lease it to you , are they going to log in to renew , without the password to the account?

No fucking way

Happy too! Thanks for not getting triggered like pinkbeeflap. First of all, TER Has created a system that allows us to simply purchase a gift card in exchange for membership. This works very well. That said, there are other sites that have not made this accommodation and it is very difficult to purchase membership unless you’re prepared to use your personal credit card or Bitcoin.  It is said that bitcoin is untraceable however if I understand mining correctly, it is essentially proving the transaction between 2 entities, be they human or other. I’m not quite that confident that either the IRS or the trial lawyers association won’t figure out a way to pierce that cloak of anonymity. Whatever.
Perhaps I didn’t state it correctly.  If you, Vorlon, for example operated without a care as to who may review your bank/cc statements then what would prevent you from signing up with a unique name/password to one of the other difficult sites and then sell that to me? Doesn’t seem worth the $10-$20 for a month long subscription but perhaps done for a yearly with the points being closer to $75-$100 for the effort?
Downside for you, I could engage in behavior that would get me banned and cause you potential problems because of the IP address I suppose but beyond that I’m not sure there is.  From the viewpoint of the website, it’s another paid subscription so I don’t know why they would care either.
As far as someone “owning someone’s ass” as hyperventilated by another lurker, the only downside to me would be that you could go in and change the password and screw me out of the cash paid to you. Seems like we all take that level of risk every time we see a provider.
But to your question, no. I’m talking about one account going only to one individual for his/her exclusive use under the same guise that we already operate.

No, moron, they don’t own your ass, they own the username and password.  If you want to renew, you send them the cash and their points.  You should pause and think before you hit the send button.
