Wheeler was found guilty on April 21 of promoting prostitution and profiting from prostitution both of which are felonies. He was also found guilty of operating a disorderly house, a gross misdemeanor.

The trial, which began April 17, featured 20 witnesses for the prosecution, including Natasha Dunagan and Asmah Jabbar, both former dancers at the Camp Bar.

The defense’s case called three witnesses including Wheeler himself.

The trial concluded on Friday and it took the jury five hours to find Wheeler guilty on the listed three counts.

Gordy is a great guy, I thought that town would rally behind him. (especially since so many locals were camp bar regulars!) My opinion is that the girls that were busted took deals for reduced sentences to testify.... And I'm sure said what they were told to say on the stand to get the conviction... whether it was true or not!
