For many years the camp bar was simply the raunchiest bar in the state. The first bar downstairs was a topless area that served beer and cocktails, admission was $5 or $10. If you paid an extra$5, you could get stamped and have access to the other bar downstairs that you could only get to from the first bar. No booze was sold but you could come and go as you pleased between the two to get more booze. Cheap drinks for a strip club. As far as rules, men had to keep their pants on. All else was fair game and takeout was extremely available. Things went bad when he decided to install private rooms upstairs where men could rent by the half and full hours. My info has it that a regular customer was pinched in a duo and made himself available for the initial groundwork that led to the eventual arrest of the owner for running a brothel.
