Just wondering what your take is on blogs, vlogs, etc... I like to update my videos every few months but some girls post blogs daily/weekly! I can never seem to keep up with those types of blogs. I am wondering how many of you really enjoy these posts and take the time to read them and how many prefer to just meet in person after begin teased by pics reviews and website... Is a newsletter even better? A "Postcard" with just a new photo dropped in your email?

Just curious! XO all responses welcome :)

With the wide variety of people in the hobby (both sides), What would appeal to some, maybe wouldn't appeal to another.

As for me, I would read up on blogs for a provider I've seen and plan to repeat, vs someone I really have no intention of visiting again. Getting a special postcard from a provider I've seen would be great. I don't know about everybody else, but it would definitely push me to make an appt even if I wasn't planning on it in the immediate future. :

As was mentioned in an earlier thread, it seems that some of the TER traffic is migrating to social media, etc.

For an "old guy" like me, I don't do social media at all--even in my civvie life--and don't read ladies' blogs, etc.  I do enjoy receiving the occasional e-mail or PM from a favorite lady, but that's about it.  A pic or two is always nice, too (hint, hint!)! :)

An occasional  " keep in touch" email  from a provider would  be great to get.

information, It seems that some ladies post too much! I like a woman that is a bit mysterious!!! Over posting and too many ad's make her seem desperate or that she is full of herself.

But if anyone does and can do it...it may be you Natalie.  IMHO to keep interest the updates have to be frequent and ever increasingly awesome.  That is a huge time commitment for anyone.

If it is for someone in whom I am interested, I'll occasionally read some of it but by and large I don't.

What awesome responses, I got even deeper/detailed ones in my inbox! I am so glad you will share your opinion with me :) I am now considering a "Postcard" every week to my besties! :)

Natalie,

I have not met you (yet!), but I do have one comment about the weekly postcard option.  If it's a blast postcard to ALL your "besties," then, for my money, it's about as personal as a piece of mail from my bank telling me how much they value my business.  I was on one lady's list like this, and her purple prose was excruciatingly embarrassing.  I didn't know if I was one of six of her "special friends"...or one of two hundred!

On the other hand, if you mean that you'd send a personalized postcard, separately, to each of your "besties," i.e., a unique one to each of your faves, then that would be awesome!  I'd eagerly look forward to those every week or two.

Fwiw...my two cents.  :)

I am on a few traveling ladies mailing lists and it is such the lazy way to do it. Every few weeks they will send out a mass email on where they will be in the future along with new shots of them. Recommend you do that.
