Wcco.com is listing news of a sting that went down in Cottage Grove.  Since this was posted on a major news outlet, are we allowed to discuss it here?

But as I understand it, so long as the story you link to does not contain enough information to let someone figure out a provider or hobbyist name with their real name  then it is OK.

Why would we want to talk about it?  It was a sting to give their community false hope that it was safe!  YEA...safe from consenting adults minding their own business!   Why Talk about it?  They're just sittiing in their offices eating donuts waiting to see if we're all scared.

Nine men were arrested in a prostitution sting in Washington County on Tuesday.

The arrests were carried out in Cottage Grove.

According to county's Drug Task Force and Violent Crime Enforcement Team, the men were arrested, processed for gross misdemeanors and released.

Among the men arrested was a 72-year-old.

This is becoming a game of hide and seek for me.  And I’m having a blast!  I just came to Minnesota in June, and I wonder how many of those cops have tried to already contact me.   I think I know who the players are - at least I’m finding out pretty fast.  It IS amazing what you can glean from posts -

Here’s my advice to Twin Cities LE:  Go and fight some real crime!  You might even be able to use your guns!

News like that just pisses me off. LE should really go fight some real crimes.

This is w-a-y too much government to me. Citizens, remember this in future elections: boot out the a-holes who run on platforms of god and morals. Those are the phonies. They usually promise less government, but do exactly the opposite. I don't want them to cramp their f*&^ing bible down my throat.

If there is a bust going on, I would expect other hobbyists might want to know about it.  I know I sure would, if I were planning to meet a lady.

I no longer hobby very often, so it's not as big of a deal for me, but I think when there's a bust, someone should make mention of it.

Minneapolis' population is about 386,691. Cottage Grove’s population is estimated at 9,187. Anyone willing to hobby in CG should go back to hobby 101 school. Everyone else will be just fine.

I am not going to use an alias to voice my personal opinion in our so-called 'free' society.     What; we can't even discuss our feelings anymore without fear of retaliation?  

This is totally wrong.   Since when is it a crime to speak out on something that you do not support, and that you feel, in fact, is making a situation much worse?

My father did not spend three goddamn years in Europe doing reconnaissance for our country during WWII for nothing!  He was a WWII hero with four bronze stars, and a purple heart.  I guess you could say I picked up a little of my passion - and 'survival' from him.  

My father endured a living hell so that we could enjoy our freedom today.  Just like all the other WWII soldiers did; many who lost their lives.   Our soldiers are still out there fighting for our freedom.  I am not hurting anyone when I say that certain laws in our country in my opinion are totally asinine; let's just keep pulling people farther down.  And let's try to control them even more.  Is this America's future?

It is revealing how this post, and several other current related posts surrounding some very important issues going on right now in Minnesota, like *police stings, *legal rights, including Miranda, *information being inappropriately revealed -and thus the perfect set-up to be set-up, *questionable providers with questionable profiles and very questionable low rates, keep getting pushed farther and farther down the line.  I've also noticed that members are being questioned for even bringing up their questions and concerns.

There are other posts out there with replies, after replies, after replies, after replies - on what?   And out of curiosity, why is there so much chatter going on all around these above-mentioned issues, but very few want to join in on these important discussions?   Is anyone else noticing this?
