Does anyone know anything about the recent sting in Rochester? Apparently 10 guys were arrested in a sting in January.
Rochester is one of the WORST places to look.
If you are rational and sensible and have an IQ above 80, Rochester is fine. Plenty of extra income from discrete high earners in a very "conservative town".
When you go scoping out BackPage and Craigslist, etc... you get what you pay for. Nothing except for your name in the paper.
Just saying... been here mostly all my life.

You took a shot at his town. He fired back, politely, and without name calling. If someone said that about the TC, I might respond the same way.

....Rochester has been hot in terms of LE for some time, that is a FACT. And with all due respect Trinity who is the "we" you refer to? Did I miss the board meeting? Different feel??? We are already edging toward pablum here IMHO. I think you know there are a lot of asshats in the 'hobby" as there are on any internet board, calling them out works for some, not for others, so be it. Geronimo is a veteran here and I agree with what he posted, even if it was a tad blunt.
And what got my nerve up was "If you are rational and sensible and have an IQ above 80". Implying that everyone that's been popped in Rochester is irrational, insensible or retarded. Rochester is 1/25th the size of the metro yet they keep pace with their arrests. Rochester goes way above and beyond the call of duty to fill their rosters with these vice crimes IMO. I mean really, can Rochester be the centerpiece of prostitution in Minnesota with almost no advertising? Do people just talk about this to strangers in the bar?
.. to ask Mr. Guapo a few questions about how you DO hobby safely in Roachville, rather than insult him and his town. He's certainly correct there's a lot of money circulating, between young docs-in-training working long hours with money but no time for a relationship; Arab sheiks visiting for their annual immortality check-up; and wealthy folk from all over seeking the best available medical care. I don't recall seeing those people mentioned in the sting results. Seems quite possible it could be some sort of UTR system in place down there, possibly with LE paid to look away. A guy who lived there all his life might have offered some insights.

I have a friend who is an executive in the hospitality business in Rochester. He says that high buck guests generally bring the women in with them from other locales, especially Cali and Vegas. He also said that while there are a lot of Docs and other professionals in town, one slip up using an escort would be the kiss of death for the career and so guys travel to other locales to play (many to the cities in his opinion). Finally, Rochester LE, both county and city, have a task force and the hotels cooperate. He says they are very moralistic and are not bought off. This is one of the reasons why Rochester is always very hot. FWIW "Mr Guapo" has no cred on this board and as we continue to see, a lot of assertions made on the boards are just not true.
Sorry. Fair enough. It was blunt, but I'm not exactly the queen of tact, either.

If you see all the comments on here... which I do enjoy reading... you stand out as five star...and I bet you are.
Given how often people ask and how often there are busts in that area, such info would be really helpful. But if you are talking about a bunch of UTR girls then that's fine for those in the know but doesn't help most of us.
I visit Rochester frequently, but do not hobby there due soley to lack of safe providers. How about a few links. PM is fine-thanks in advance
