Would that explain ads popping up and the vanishing?  I think it would if I read your post correctly?

Nevermind....I totally misread it.  I think I'll have another drink!  But on a second read, ..dumb policy.

Back page has changed its pricing rules, and no longer allows advertisers to publish prices for anything less than an hour.  No more half hour or 15 minute prices.  For now, some of the posts have prices clearly listed for an hour or more, and then somewhere in the ad is just another unexplained number, with no indication what it is for. Its pretty easy to figure out that that undefined number is for shorter sessions.

The talk is that BP is trying to avoid some of the troubles that Craigslist went through.  Though, I cannot see how only targeting "short session" prices accomplishes much of anything.

No one will be taken in by it for long and why targeting shorter sessions is supposed to get LE to back off is beyond me.

They should just move their operations out of the US so they can tell the various state AGs to take flying leap.

Yes I experienced that change a few weeks ago. Someone inquired if I did half hour sessions I don't normally discuss prices over the phone. I went back to my ad and Backpage had removed my half hour rates.??? Made no sense to me.
