Downtown is nice but you pay a premium for hotels and the parking situation can be a little more difficult. You might want to look at Bloomington. There are a lot of hotels at reasonable prices, the parking is much better, and you are close to the airport so you are likely to attract some of the business travelers as well.
Advice please.. I frequent downtown St.Paul and downtown Minneapolis. Also have classes in St. Cloud.. Any information appreciated regarding the area's.
