time zones work!    This is about the fourth time they've pulled that one on me.

If it has happened four times, why not just wait until later in the morning to post? Is it really that important a thread that it has to be posted just minutes after midnight?  Shilling the same half dozen well know providers, week after week, isn't exactly breaking news.

Staff must be getting really tired reading the same old farts shilling for the same ladies week in and week out.

The best providers don't need anyone shilling for them.

DBA posted a while back with rules for theme day threads. One rule was that no thread should be started prior to 5:00 a.m. local time. I think they are applying the same time rule to the shill Friday thread or at least they should.

He is an old, harmless, well-intentioned fart, and he can do whatever he wants to do. This is his life. Be glad you aren't addicted and have other interests. He does wear on me, though.

in his late 50's (the handle is ironic, since my daughters call me "Old Man"); that may qualify as an "old fart" to some, but most providers who have commented on my age guess me to be late 40's or early 50's.  

And, TER is a fun place to be, a point I made last month in my posting "A year in the hobby."  But, TER is not my "life."  I have a professional career, I travel overseas 2-3 times a year, and do have a "life" apart from TER.

I have not set out intentionally to "wear on" people.  Sorry that that's how I've come across.
