I am on my 2nd cold of the year and have had to cancel 3 appointments šŸ˜’
One of them said he wouldn't mind coming anyway.

Guys, would you see a provider if she had the sniffles?
(I mean, if she was up for it. I am definitely not lol).
Feel free to take my Twitter poll, via the link.

And have you ever arrived at an appointment and discovered a sick provider? What did you do??? I would be so pissed!

In fact it’s happened to me a few times, in both directions, with my long-time ATF.  In nearly ten years, it’s bound to happen.  One of us had the sniffles and asked the other if we should cancel. Then it went, ā€œHow are you feeling otherwise?ā€  If OK, and not coughing and sneezing, we would go forward.  And as you may know, sex and cuddling boost the immune system. 😊

But since the pandemic, I’m much more careful. Anything that could be a COVID-19 symptom gets a red alert. And I’ve found providers to be more careful about such things in the past 3 years.

I don’t recall arriving to see a provider and finding her ill, other than what I mentioned above. Maybe because they let me know beforehand—which I greatly appreciate!

If I was the one who was ill, I always let her know and decide if she wanted to postpone.  The provider almost never wanted to cancel either.

Nowadays, it is a different story.  I err on the side of caution regardless of who is under the weather.  It can make dealing with allergies more difficult as well.

O M G !!!! Girl! So one of my regulars (love him to death) had booked an appointment w me back in early December which was 90mins long, we snuggled, talked, fooled around, and was very very close in proximity (face 2 face damn near breathing the same air the whole entire time). Tho we did have a good time, talk, & cuddles, not once did he mention about feeling under the weather nor did he even seem like it…

I kid you not, 2 1/2 hrs after our appointment he texted me,
ā€œ Hey. This is terrible fucking timing. I think I'm getting sick. I went back into work to help out, and I thought maybe my throat was just sore from the light choking...but now I have small shivers.

Just. Be aware. I hope you already have had whatever I have so you don't get sick.  Really really sorry. The chill came on about 30 mins agoā€

And so I had to inform 2 other clients that I had after that him that we all might get sick šŸ¤¢šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø

I thought I was cleared since I didn’t get sick right away… and right before Xmas, like 2 days before, I came down w a fever & horrible cough… even tho I have had Covid once before when it first came out, sure as shit when I tested for Covid I was POSITIVE!!! 🫠 couldn’t spend Xmas w/ my family but it’s fine, atleast I had a week n a Half to be lazy! Lol

Oh wow, that’s really annoying. Glad you had a good attitude about it!

For my 2 colds this year I tested for covid. And was negative each time so that was nice..

That's the problem with a disease that can make someone contagious before they have any symptoms.

Yes that’s the very crappy thing about it! but ig just like how everyone is going about it, all you can do & the best and only thing you CAN do is TRY to prevent it, clean as much as you can, wash your hands, 6ft apart, br smart & be safe!

I wouldn't even consider booking unless I was feeling completely healthy and, post pandemic, would have to completely write off a provider if she wouldn't give the same courtesy.
I put off solidifying a date for all of March and most of April because of seasonal allergies (I get pretty congested and my lungs don't do awesome with mold spores)

I get that this is primary income for many, but a focus on discretion and being as safe as possible are very important to me.

Life’s back to normal. There’s also a 75% increase in allergies this year.
I worry more about having a great time with a lady rather than if she has the ā€œsniffles.ā€
