Thanks to all who are serving and all who have served, including those who made the ultimate sacrifice.  You and your families are in our thoughts and prayers.

My thanks, thoughts and ultimate respect to all who are serving and have served our wonderful country.  You are the true heroes of our nation.

In war, there are lives risked and lives taken
Men and women giving their best to defend what they love
They defend their country
Their honor
Their people

Some call them soldiers
Others call them heroes

Our veterans have risked their lives for us
They have lived through hell and fought with honor
Many have killed
And regret doing so

For every life, there is a soul
For every soul, there is a life
For those who have died, we show great appreciation and remembrance
For those who live, along with them live the horrific memories of battle
Some, memories of defeat
Some, memories of victory

Our veterans were more than soldiers
They were, and still are heroes

Beautifully said.

Thanks for making this vet a little misty-eyed.

Thank you Vet's for your service and devotion!

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

I love the freedoms you have fought to preserve.

I am so sorry to report that not one response was  from this board. At least one Veteran was able to share valuable info.   I so hoped than Minneapolis would be a place I would want to come back..Unfortunately, other places are bringing me only some responses, and then they might mention their TER handle. Certainly not what I had hoped for. Stay warm this winter. Hopefully someone will see me before I am gone on Tuesday. I do know how to warm you up.. Thank you for your service to everyone who has served in the military. We do appreciate it.!! Goddess Kalina

.... you're all brave men and women.   Sometimes I wish I wasn't such a chicken "almost" joining the marines and  army.

Any providers offering specials to combat veterans (and can prove it)?

Many thanks to those who have served this country.

I am a vet with an honest vet's perspective.

I've waited until after Veteran's Day for this comment but I find the excessive patriotism in the nation of late unsettling: "Service" alone is not reason enough for thanks. It's just a job with benefits, really good benefits.

It's a job that most (not all) take for all the wrong reasons. Most of us are not the brightest and the best (quite the contrary on average), just people with few other options. And I feel we shouldn't be given little gold stickers just for showing up.

True heroes are very rare, as is true sacrifice.
