Lets just get rid of all the nonsense  titles . There are johns and there are hookers.  You want to advocate  legalized  prostitution  , have at it . But for  fuck sakes call it what it is.

(1) I totally agree with you but (2) Most SJWs I know are sex worker friendly and want to decrim. What kind of SJW's do you know? Because I want to meet those ones and ask, "What in the world is wrong with you?"

... to allow sex workers, whether escorts, street workers, strippers, to have an en bloc presence in that march and other similar marches. They could join as individuals but couldn't fly their collective freak flag high. SJWs, in my view, often are in lock step with those whose radical views tell us that objectification of women, in any form such as admiring her beauty and commenting, telling her something as simple as "you look nice", "that dress looks really nice", " I like your new hair style" is sexist and therefore you should be punished by death or defamation. SJWs are today's equivalent  of a red neck; narrow minded and intolerant of those who don't see the world as they do. In my personal circle, I have several, family or friendly, who believe in the traditional sexual roles, i.e. hetero, homo, LGQBT.... but sex workers, to them, are the dregs who need to be eliminated or forced into conversion therapy so they turn into shiny, happy normal people. I would love to introduce you to these misinformed souls and I would pray that you would be able to survive their onslaught. They're not reasonable people.  :)

After my stint in the military, I'm pretty great at just looking at someone with my head tilted a tad, a raised eyebrow (usually the left), and smirking. Then I hit them with the, "Are you done yet?" Stops people in their tracks when they are on a rant. It's a lovely little skill.  

Anyway, I understand what you're saying. I recall what happened to sex workers at the women's march. I thought everyone was going to fall out when Janet Mock made a comment that sex workers are deserving of respect. Y'all the looks on some faces - they thought she took out Taylor Swift.

I am still so excited to be  living in Minneapolis now, but it's a bit different compared to Dallas in this regard.

Do not get me wrong, Dallas (not Dallas proper) had busts in outlying suburbs, usually Northern Dallas, like Denton & McKinney. However, even with the Super Bowl in Houston, the need to ramp up LE was... a tad minimal. Then to move to a place like Minnesota which is typically thought of as more "liberal" (well, when it wants to be), and to see such a strong SWOP presence, it "looks" more friendly. However, as a new person looking into the community, there's a moment of, "What is going on up here?", in regards to all the trash that is spewed about SW and the disregard for those of us who partake consensually. I hope that makes sense.  

LE has been known to fake reviews and/or handles, and/or create providers. There was a review board infiltrated by LE in the Pacific Northwest. When I first started as provider last year, there were two gents in the Southeast that gave up their P411 accounts to LE, and some others sharing accounts. Unfortunately, P411 "okays" and TER "White Lists" don't hold the same weight as they used to. Now those are some scary stories to be on the listening end of. Screening is never full proof but moving up here has only strengthened and hardened my screening process. Can this be limiting to those I see? Yes. Is there more peace of mind? Absolutely. There's just too much to lose for both parties and I think for the time being (and the future) there has to be a give on tougher screening.

I wouldn't look to liberals or feminists to be too friendly toward SW.  The philosophy that you are a sovereign individual free to choose your own path is libertarian one, not a liberal (collectivist) one.  Third wave feminism hates men and therefore would oppose legal SW just to spite men.

Not necessarily, believe you me, PLENTY of SWers are feminists too! And I can assure you we believe in absolute freedom, freedom to be a stay at home mom, freedom to be a SWer (and often a SWer mom), freedom to have sex, freedom to work outside the home, freedom to breast or bottlefeed, freedom to NEVER have kids. ALL of it. I promise, there are plenty of us out there :)

I remember the dingy U of M days with the stacks in the library that were like a boring dungeon.  I was constantly thinking of sex when researching those dust covered journals.  Near the end they had a copier down there and I always fantasized of of a coed xeroxing her ass when I heard that sound..unfortunately no letters to to the Penthouse Forum from me.

Quite honestly, I think the police focus johns is already of having an unintended consequence of increased supply.  After all, if you declare that all providers are victims, the focus is only trying to sting the demand--allowing the supply to be  more bold in advertising.  At least that's what I'm seeing and it is getting very easy to spot a cop ad.  They are becoming very predictable with certain locations and their lust for felony bust by doing a stupid bait and switch on age when the ad provides an adult age.

Ha, the stacks at Walter library.  The first year I was there I didn't  know about the stacks. I walked around Walter library and wondered where all the books were.  I dropped out before I ever found them.  A few years later I returned and finally found the door to the stacks.  

I was a pretty innocent boy back them -- my daydreams were about sex ... and romance.
