Little Sue asked me to let everyone know how she was doing and what was going on with her.

She has been doing very poorly, in great amounts of pain for the past few months. Her friends have been rallying around helping as much as we can.

With all the pieces falling in the right places, Sue will be having her first surgery later this week. This is an important, imparitive step in her recovery process.

Sue will continue to need support, and sends so many heartfelt thanks to everyone who has reached out and helped.

If you know Sue well, and want more details about her surgery, please PM me. Or, post your well wishes here, and I will pass them on to her when I see her.

Those who want to help out in other ways, THANK YOU, it is needed and so very much appreciated as Sue continues to recover. Greendot cards, store or grocery cards, cash, will all be passed on directly to her.

xoxo
Laura

It's the little things that count. I didn't mean to imply that to contribute you have to donate. A simple hello, well wish, card, all of it is appreciated!

I have never meet Sue in person, but have tried to help out some when I can.  If there is anything else I can do to help, just let me (and anyone else in the community that wants to help) know.

By the time I was ready to schedule another meeting, she began to get sick.  When I think of all the republican uber christians walking around healthy as horses talking to their imaginary friends about how "sinful" we all are, Sue's condition is just a stark reminder of how unfair life can be.  She's lucky to have friends like you.

I do not know her, except for what I have read since I arrived, but she is obviously well loved and respected.  I am sorry she is has to go through so much and experience so much pain, but friends like you will keep her going...and those sweets will help, too, I am sure! :)

Thank you for the update.

Although I never had the opportunity to visit her - I DID get to have a great conversation with her - and she became an instant friend. A wonderful lady.
