I don't like to play censor - but there are a few things that I simply will not allow to be posted on the boards I moderate. Racist or hateful posts, outing personal information, personal attacks - and posting negative comments on a provider's weekly ad thread are among them.

This board is an invaluable resource for the ladies here. While the purpose of the board is to keep hobbyists informed, the ads they post let us know they are here and give us some insight into their personality and demeanor, helping us make a more informed decision where to spend increasingly rare $$$.

That said, a provider is only allowed to post one ad in a 7 day period and I do not believe it is right to post negative comments or unproven allegations on that thread. If there are suspicions of B&S or fake pictures or a provider changing names, contact the reviewers and or the ladies first. If you remain unsatisfied then make a separate post expressing your concerns, but do not turn her weekly ad thread into a shouting match with accusations and defenses flying.

I do not play favorites per se, but if someone carries his displeasure with me to another board and posts accusations without even having had the courtesy of communicating his concerns to me - well, being human, that person is not going to be high on my list.

Play hard, play safe and let's try to play fair.

You say, "The purpose of this board is to keep hobbyists informed," but over the past couple years the usefulness of this board to hobbyists keeps falling.  

This board has become a free version of backpage and craigslist. Your desire to stop negative information from being shared simply protects ripoff artists.  

If a provider posts an ad, and someone has direct experience with that provider and shares it - that is valuable information.  

If the source of the information or the experiences of other clients does not match what is being posted, that will work itself out.

The moderators (in general, no one in specific) and local white knights are the ones responsible for turning this board lock stock and barrel over to the escorts - who have time to post 24/7 and shout down any opinion they don't agree with.  

Perhaps we could start a discussion board for hobbyists where we can exchange information and share our experiences?  That might be something a hobbyist would be interested in.

If you have direct experience, that falls into a different category. If YOU have direct knowledge, then yes you may post. That would of course follow your review where you list that experience.

Reading an anonymous post on another board is NOT direct experience. Seeing some pictures that vaguely resemble a provider and making a judgment that they are the same person is NOT direct experience.

Making those accusations when a provider has several reviews from what appear to be credible hobbyists is also not the best move.

I am not trying to judge a particular situation - just trying to rein in a lynch mob before it gets started. Character assassination is arguably the foulest of crimes, as our reputations are the single most valuable thing we possess as human beings.

In the past I have been excited about a provider and posted a quick note to share... And I end up being called a pimp.

Not that I am looking to share all that much, but it seems in these times some of these ladies, esspecially the younger ones, just travel around trying different cities to see how it goes for them. I have had several tell me that they will stay as long as they have business.

Having had a good expieriance and wanting to see them again, the best chance to have them stick around is post a note and hope some decent guys go see her so she has a possitive expieriance with our cities and sticks around a week or two.

On the other hand I have had some bad expieriances and my way way of retibutution if I felt ripped off was to post a quick note letting others know. Sometimes right from my phone so it is up within minutes. Been ripped on that as well.

However I have recieved possitive PM's in both cases.

And I for one enjoy having the local ladies post on here. Just a couple I have met personally are Samantha Good and Remy.... They have great, fun personalities with quick wits and are sharp as tacks! They only add good fun to this board. I really enjoy a little weekly update from the fine local ladies. It is practical as well, keeps us informed so we know who to call when.

If Puck has been selected to moderate multiple boards there is a reason for it, he probably is fair. Pucks responsibility is to prevent TER from becoming another CL, where upset boyfriends or pimps can put up bashing posts towards providers. On the other hand if a provider on TER is using stolen pic, I'm sure Puck will allow it to be posted  if he feels the source is credible and the posting is done in good taste.
