Fred Singer? This is the same guy that insists UV radiation doesn't cause skin cancer, and second-hand smoke is harmless.  Some folks still think the Earth flat, or there is no such thing as evolution, but all you have to do is look at the data.  What have global temps been doing since 1980?  1960? Or just about any other date since the start of the how about the start of the industrial revolution?  And I'm not sure what sea-level records you're talking about, when pretty much all the NOAA stations say the same thing http://tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov/sltrends/sltrends.html

I'm an engineer, I'm no climate scientists, but much of what I get paid for depends on the geodesists at NOAA, so I think I'll believe them before a guy that insists cigarette smoke doesn't cause cancer.
