Anybody see this on backpage?  A warning about sting downtown??

It just says to not use hotels, police sting downtown several times.

Personally I would never go to a provider at a hotel unless I had seen her previously or was VERY positive about her; great and plentiful reviews etc.

Here's my reasoning: Hotels are ideal for LE to use in a sting, no leases, no background checks nothing. Think how many times you have seen TV news reports about stings at XYZ hotel.

Secondly, barring the exceptions above, hotel providers are probably not local, have no ties to area and could easily be scammers or worse. Think about it, if you are criminally minded what easier way to get some quick cash than rent a room, run a $5 BP ad and rip guys off.........or worse.

There have been several reviews of rip-offs on TER and other sites and all were in hotels.
